Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the devastating fires in Southern California. Ford has always been dedicated to supporting communities, and we are committed to standing by the Los Angeles area now and in the days ahead.

To assist our electric vehicle owners within the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Designated Disaster Area 4856, Ford is launching the following initiatives:
  1. BlueOval™ Charge Network California Wildfires Reimbursement. To assist those evacuating, displaced from their home chargers, or using their electric Ford vehicles for disaster recovery, we will reimburse all public charging sessions initiated through the BlueOval Charge Network within the designated FEMA disaster area, retroactive to January 7, 2025. BlueOval Charge Network transactions will be automatically refunded to customers’ original payment method for charge events through January 31, 2025. Customers can easily activate chargers within the BlueOval Charge Network by using Plug & Charge at Electrify America and Tesla Supercharger stations, or through the FordPass® app or the in-vehicle Public Charging App with all 12 BlueOval Charge Network providers: Blink, ChargePoint, Electric Circuit, Electrify America, EV Connect, EVgo, FLO, Ford Charge, Francis Energy, Shell Recharge, Red E, and Tesla.

  2. Ford Fast Charging Adapters are available to provide additional charging options at Tesla Supercharger stations for customers with immediate charging needs, such as those who lost access to their home charger or are using their vehicles for disaster relief. Ford dealerships in the impacted area will receive a limited number of adapters to distribute free of charge. If you have an existing adapter reservation, we are holding orders from ZIP codes impacted by the wildfires until it is feasible to resume shipments. If you need help replacing an adapter lost in the fire, expediting your reservation, updating your shipping address, or holding your adapter shipment until you're ready, please contact us at (844) 589-0060, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM ET.
  3. Ford Power Promise home charger and standard installation replacements for Ford electric vehicle customers who lost their home in the fires. If you received a complimentary home charger and standard installation through Ford Power Promise, Ford will replace your home charger and cover the cost of a standard installation for the replacement. More details to come soon – in the interim, contact your local Ford dealership or the Ford Customer Relationship Center at (800) 392-3673 with any immediate concerns.

  4. Payment Deferrals for impacted customers. Ford Credit is offering 120-day payment deferrals to affected customers. Please contact your dealer for more information.

  5. California Wildfires Disaster Relief employee pricing on select new 2024-2025 Ford models will be available at participating Ford Dealers through March 31, 2025, for eligible California residents who lost their vehicles due to the fires. Contact your local dealer for more information and to see if you qualify.
Thank you for being part of the Ford family. Together, we will start to overcome these challenges. ❤ ❤❤

Just an FYI- For those of us that use the dark mode on this site, your dark letter format is very very difficult to read.
On behalf of the OP, I have changed the font color so that it's readable in dark mode.

This gesture from Ford is extremely generous and beneficial to those who have been affected by this devastating event.

Now let’s hope they do what they say will. Promises from Ford have been easy. Execution, not so much.

There aren't any chargers in Altadena.
The disaster declaration covers all of Los Angeles county.
But, I do agree that ford should allow affected owners to charge wherever they are. Many have evacuated to outside the LA area.

I tend to be a cynic when it comes to corporate altruism...but still appreciate when a corporation does step up and "do the right thing".

I agree with you Joe. Ford has done the “right thing”. I live in the SE, upstate SC. Hurricane Helene plowed thru us. Left most of us with holes in our roofs and without power for a week or more. No power, no charging but still my Lightning powered my refrigerators to keep my neighbors perishable food from rotting. But these fires took everything away from these people. This gesture from Ford is to be applauded. Let us see what Tesla will do for their customers. Haven’t heard anything yet. I consider us different with a bit more empathy towards those who are suffering right now. I did what I had to do to help. Ford definitely is doing the right thing.
