As the title says I cannot get departure times to work on my 24 Flash.
Here's what I have done so far:

Truck is always plugged in at home and is connected to my wifi where it sits

I have created, deleted and re-created the "home"charging location in the truck

I have cleared cache, then uninstalled and re-installed Fordpass

I have created departure times in Fordpass, when they didn't work then deleted them from Fordpass and re-created them directly in the truck, which did show up in Fordpass

When a departure time comes around the truck just does nothing.

I can "remote start" the truck thru the app without issue.

Any thoughts/ideas would be appreciated cause I am at the point of just deleting them and starting it when I need to go somewhere, but I'd really like to take advantage of battery preconditioning.

Twice recently our truck has been confused about where it is parked, and decided it was in a "default" location and wanted to charge to 100%, ignoring programs that was and still exist.

I suggest you delete your location information, unplug, drive around the block and see if the truck recognizes what you programed. If not, perhaps reinstall the data ....

It may not help, but at least it removes this possibility.

I found, on the Lightning and also on the Mach E, that setting these times in the vehicle's SYNC seems to stick better than thru the FordPass.

Also, I noticed that it's best to have the truck see the "home" charging position as the "default". This might, perhaps, help in Your situation...

Final note: on the CHARGE screen in the truck, do You have the bottom (CHARGING LOCATION) toggle turned on?, It's easy to miss that one... it's right below the DEPARTURE TIME toggle.

Thanks, it does seem to know where it is. I set the max SOC at 90% here at the house and that works as it's supposed to. Location in Fordpass also shows the house. I will delete the location next time I go somewhere and reset it when I get back.

Thanks, my last round with the truck was to set everything up in the truck vs the app.

When I get in the truck it does show "default" until it syncs with the server then changes to "home" which is what I edited it to.

The toggle is on, as mentioned above the max SOC for the location works as well.

Was the truck ice cold when you went out to drive it?
Were the tail & marker lights on?
Do you have time constraints on your at home charging scheme?
If you do, what are the start & stop times?
Is the departure event time past the charging limit time?

Yes, no. My last departure time was 5:45PM yesterday afternoon. At 5:40PM I went out to the truck, no lights at all and the cabin was ice cold along with the seats and steering wheel. I then just "remote started" the truck from the app to at least get some heat in the cab. This is exactly what has happened for every departure time I've ever set.

I don't have any charging constraints setup and never did actually. I'm on a coop and my power is same price no matter what so chargin "wide open" for the truck.

Good that you do not have time constraints.

I wonder if your departure time had all days selected and also wondering how you handle the switch for behaviour while off plug.

I would expect there to be no difference in operation since you're plugged in, but if it's OFF, try turning it ON and retest.

I suggest this as a way to determine if there is another bug in FordPass, note this switch is ONLY visible in the APP, you can not see it in the Sync screen.

This is my full schedule that shows in the app and in the truck. I don't have a daily commute so the schedule are just the times I know I'll be leaving the house. I did have that toggle on when I first got the truck but have had it turned off for a while now. Will try toggling it on.

Do you potentially have ‘preferred charge time’ windows setup for your home location (in the app) that conflict with your departure time?

Thanks for the reply but no. I mentioned above I don't have any peak times for power where I am so my charge times are "anytime" (Weekdays - Anytime and Weekends - Anytime)

I also have a '24 Flash and have the exact issue as the OP. I have tried the items suggested and 90% of the time departure time/cabin prep just does not work. It's a little frustrating on the colder mornings.

Does anyone have any other ideas to try? I've done the location resets, default check, fordpass setup, in car setup, on/off plug toggle, and it simply will not consistently work.

The only thing I haven't tested is leaving the truck unplugged overnight to see if it's something about being plugged in but idle. My charge stops in the middle of the night but remains plugged in until I go to work. I wonder if it wasn't plugged in it would kick on the cabin prep 🤔

Are the day and time set correctly in the truck? If the truck doesn’t know the correct time it will handle the departure time incorrectly.

Twice this month, after battery deep sleep mode due to extreme cold, I’ve found that the auto date/time setting was turned off and the day and time were incorrect. I turned on the setting, deleted the existing departure times from the truck, and set new departure times from FordPass - this got it back to responding to departure times correctly.

I have a 24 flash mine works every morning. The only thing I have to do is refresh Fordpass to make sure the info is correct. Meaning I have my truck scheduled to start charging at 12am. When I plug it in it usually displays waiting to charge at some random time. I refresh until it shows the correct time 12am.

Also make sure Fordpass stays open and not force closed. The Departure times wont work if Fordpass is closed in the background.

I have had to do this for the Mach E we have also. Both work 100% f the time.

The only other thing I have updated my truck fully. You may have several updates available even as a 24. Mine had 14 or so updates when I got it.

I also do not have a schedule set for my EVSE all scheduling is through FOrd Pass.
