My dealer is reporting that this TSB has been superseded by a newer one? Can anyone verify that? They’re supposedly applying that “newer version” as we speak. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Interesting. They usually reference the TSB on the work order. Post it here if they do. Someone can look it up.

They changed their tune when I arrived to pick it up. They did apply the original TSB after all. False alarm. Apparently the person I interface with misunderstood the technician. Hearsay at its best. 😅

They forgot to perform the NYS inspection too. So I’m still waiting. 😬

Walk away lock definitely works after the update. Plus (surprisingly to me) windshield washer fluid level now shows under the "Service" tab of the FordPass app. CarPlay worked correctly on the way home, but too early to offer an opinion on that one, as it worked MOST of the time before.

Scheduled mine for next Wednesday. Hopefully it will fix all of my CarPlay won’t play audio issues.

If I'm understanding it correctly, the TSB allows for up to 6.6 hours of labor and a LVB replacement. With how complex and time consuming these updates are, It seems almost guaranteed that they'll kill a battery or screw something else up in the process. Even though I have the described issues, I won't be rushing to get this service done. Anyone wanna be a guinea pig and report back? :please:

In the meantime, I'll continue to reboot as needed. 🥾
Be aware if you've updated your 12V you won't get a free one. I had replaced our 12V battery with an aftermarket one after our original 12V battery ballooned. 100% convinced the new battery was killed by the truck and dropped it off on Friday to get a replacement fitted - Dealership got s***y with us and charged me a dig fee plus a new battery because we hadn't got an OEM one.

$470 later, I should be picking the truck up with software updates tomorrow. They originally weren't going to do the updates as they said it was fine. I pointed out we'd had the problems before the 12V battery died... and that the previous battery was also killed by the truck.

It's one year old... I'll make a new video about it shortly, because this issue didn't happen in time for our 1/year 10,000 mile update for our YT channel.

No CarPlay or Android Auto issues for me, but haven't picked up new updates since purchase. Currently on software version 4.X, so may take this in for the "free updates".

This is the one that puzzles me. I have all of these updates done on my truck yet do not see those things in the FordPass app.
Do you have the latest version of the app on iOS? If so you need to completely close and restart the app.
