5 Dec 24 Posted in case these symptoms are what you're experiencing:
"Some 2022-2023 F-150 Lightning vehicles may exhibit a reduced distance to empty (DTE) projection, a high voltage (HV) battery pack state of charge (SOC) that drops from 100% to less than 90% within 60 seconds of being driven, and an inability to reach a target SOC using the scheduled charging feature without any diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) in the battery energy control module (BECM). This may be due to an issue in one or more cells within the HV battery pack. To correct the condition, run the "BECM Battery Health" application using the latest software version of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). If any cells are identified as exceeding state of charge and/or capacity thresholds, refer to the Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 414-03A High Voltage Battery, Mounting and Cables > Diagnosis and Testing > High Voltage Battery, Mounting and Cables - Electric > Pinpoint Test AP > Step AP4 and continue diagnosis. If all cells are within state of charge and capacity thresholds or DTCs are present in the BECM, refer to the WSM for normal diagnosis."

Mike:

Can that be run remotely or does the vehicle need to be connected to FDRS?

Mine drops 3% after half a mile in the afternoon lately, I don't think that's related to this though. I've ignored it as my overall usage by the time I get home is about on par with what I expect.

My truck 22ER Lariat is doing exactly this. It'll say it's at 100% then immediately drops to 88% when put in drive. My charge logs also indicate it stopping at 88%. i checked on carscanner app and its getting to 81.4%actual and 100% displayed. Then drops to 88.5% displayed at the same actual soc. Pack voltage seems high for 81% showing 392v. Showing 99.5%SOH 0.08v module variation and 7.54% module soc variation. I'm at 65k miles. I've been hoping this would fix itself. Have not had any real issues until now but the truck still runs fine and does not have any warnings or dtc's

0.08v module variation and 7.54% module soc variation
That 7.5% module variation seems high for the small 0.08V variation...maybe I am wrong on that. I have a 0.33% variation, but all are near 3.92V.

Ran it down to 32% soc and the variation got worse 8.37% module soc variation at 0.11v module variation. Didn't have time to charge past 82% today. The truck hasn't been able to charge past 88% for about 2 weeks now. Idk if I should bring it to the dealer or try cycling the battery. Or buy an fdrs subscription and see if I can check it out myself. I'm assuming dealer is not going to do this for free and if I have bad cells it won't be warranty covered until it's below 70% I've run the battery down into the mid 30% range several times and it only charges back to 88% will show 100% on the dash but then immediately drops to 88. Charge logs show it stops charging at 88.

If you have a bad cell, Ford will cover to 8 years or 100K miles. If your are past the 3 year / 36K mile warranty, or not, Dealer may be evil and charge a diagnostic fee. Hopefully that would be erased if it is this known problem stated by the OP comment #1 and covered by warranty. Just for comparison to others having the problem, what is your Build Date, Month/Year (posted at top of sticker at driver's door?

I'm at work until 6AM EST so I can't get my exact build date until I'm off. but it's a 22ER Lariat that was ordered and delivered Sept 2022 VIN 1FT6W1EVXNWG08065. As far as warranty goes isn't the battery 8 year 100k only guaranteed to retain 70% This definitely happened very suddenly previously I could charge to 100% and it would stay at 100 for awhile. Truck has 65k miles now.

See if you are affected by this Safety Recall 25S18, where you might qualify for a full pack replacement! Check your Vin at ford.com.

But still I think if you have a bad cell in one of the 9 modules, you will be covered for that replacement since you are less than 8 years and 100K miles.

No recalls for my truck at the moment. All previous recalls and satisfaction programs were already complete.

I just had this issue with my '22 Lariat SR only charging to 84% (showing 100% in Ford Pass, see my thread here), took it to dealer and it's a bad module. Don't bother with the voodoo tricks, I tried those and nothing worked. Good luck.
