I’m very new to the Forscan world. If I download the free 2 month license will I have to purchase at the end of 2 months or do you just generate another key?

I haven't looked into the fake noise yet but I did look into disabling the hybrid backup beep and after researching it appears the only way to disable is physically disconnecting the speaker because the module that controls it doesn't have any asbuilt values that can be changed.Im looking to turn off the fake noise that comes out of the hybrid as well as the backup beep. Is tjat possible?
Will you please explain what all the acronyms mean?I've started adding FORScan spreadsheets here for anyone interested: https://bit.ly/3cJnYMS
Currently the newest version of FORScan can only change the BCM and 1/3 of the IPC (cluster) versions so when that changes I'll add the other modules as well.
My FORScan tutorial is here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-8dKaS_Spu4Zw4hV_CrKC4tLoP9G8yejqegF1wxIqxY/edit
Disable key-in ignition chime | IPC | 720-02-01 | xx*x | xxxx | xx-- | unconfirmed - subtract 8 from current value (if E change to 6) |
Turn Signal Flashes (# of) | SCCM | 724-01-01 | xxxx | x*xx | xx | 0=1 flash, 4=2 flashes, 6=3 flashes, 8=4 flashes, A=5 flashes, C=6 flashes, E=7 flashes ** see SCCM spreadsheet for more options ** |
Can confirm:
Disable key-in ignition chime IPC 720-02-01 xx*x xxxx xx-- unconfirmed - subtract 8 from current value (if E change to 6)
Also for:
I found that it’s now xxxx-**xx-xx and when I set it to 1A I got 6 flashes, 1C got me 7. Starts with 0C (3 flashes) and 10 gave me 4. Unsure what the big step sizes indicate now?
Turn Signal Flashes (# of) SCCM 724-01-01 xxxx x*xx xx 0=1 flash, 4=2 flashes, 6=3 flashes, 8=4 flashes, A=5 flashes, C=6 flashes, E=7 flashes ** see SCCM spreadsheet for more options **
I have the all the tow options, perhaps that’s making the difference to the starting position?I still need to do some more testing but I believe the values below are valid. Some people have HSW enabled and have the 8 whereas others like me have 0 even though I have a HSW so mine is likely enabled in a separate module.
"Lane Change Blink Number: if your default value is 8C:
80=null, 84=1, 88=2, 8C=3, 90=4, 94=5, 98=6, 9C=7, A0=8, A4=9, A8=10"
"Lane Change Blink Number: if your default value is 0C:
00=null, 04=1, 08=2, 0C=3, 10=4, 14=5, 18=6, 1C=7, 20=8, 24=9, 28=10"
Yes, there's been a few guys that reported changing tire size and doing the PCM relearn to put their speedo spot on.@Livnitup I am so glad to see you still offer this service for our community. I remember how much I loved having forscan to setup my 2017 Raptor years ago, and now traded that for a 2021 Powerboost and so glad you are still supporting Forscan.
I saw the spreadsheet and already coded lincoln autofold, door & seat belt chimes, global windows, idle shutoff, tranny temp and bambi mode. I am about to do a level kit and get bigger tires and wondering if the tire size in BCM is verified as working? I see the link to the size calculator and wondering if anyone with a 2021 has verified that we are able to write those values to BCM to heal the speedo.
Thanks again,
