Unlock on FordPass down???

I just locked my truck with the key inside via FordPass about an hour ago while biking. Trying to unlock with FordPass and it just won’t??
Am I missing something?

Well, that sucks. It wasn't working for me yesterday when I got out of work, but I did not try it today. You don't know the door code to get in?

No door code on my pro.
This is the first time I’ve ever depended on FordPass and didn’t sneak a key in a pocket just in case.
it’s also the first time FordPass failed to work. Entirely frustrating. No one at ford can unlock remotely. Going to be a couple hours waiting for roadside assistance.
At least it’s not raining.

I had the same issue yesterday. Fortunately I have the keypad. I thought it was just another bug in my truck. I just had the window door module over the air update. Maybe I will try disconnecting the 12 volt to see if that fixes it.

Nope. It’s totally unresponsive. No start, no climate, no lock, no unlock. Deleted and reinstalled app. Tried app on a different phone.

I don't normally unlock my truck via FordPass, but I do regularly turn on climate control via FordPass. I did that this morning and that worked fine.

For a test, I just tried lock and unlock. Where my truck is parked, I can see the drivers door lock pull thing on one of my security cameras. While watching that camera, I use my phone to unlock the truck, and I saw the lock thing move up. Then locked it and saw the lock thing go down. So that part is working. And FordPass is correctly showing that I have 94% battery and 288 miles range (which matched what I saw in the truck an hour ago). In case anyone is wondering, I charged to 95% overnight because I expect to drive quite a bit today...

I may have, but always had a duplicate on my person. I’m not sure.
If having the key inside the vehicle disables the unlock feature of the app, I’m a bit confused at the usefulness of such a feature.

I don't think it's a feature but I've heard a couple of stories of people getting locked out. I always keep my key on me, it's got the manual override key in it too just in case.

Ford roadside got me in.
unlock and lock work fine now. Will test later when I get home to determine if the key being inside the cabin was a fluke or normal.

I live in a small town and keep my keys in the cupholder all the time and every time I remote start in the morning I also have to unlock it via the app without issue.
