“Service vehicle soon” sign on a less than a month old 2024 Flash with 1400 miles

Got a “Service vehicle soon” sign on my 2024 Flash with 1400 miles on it. Will take it to the dealership tomorrow. Just wondering if anyone had any similar experience?

There are several threads on this that may help. Here's a recent one to get you started. I hope it's nothing major. Let us know what the dealer says. We're finding that the hive knowledge here is more than what most dealers have, so it may be a good idea to go in armed with printouts of some of these threads to help them along.

Thanks for the link to the thread. However, every single person that posted on those threads had their power reduced; mine is still at 100%, and everything works normally on the truck. Will post an update once I hear back from the dealer. Thanks again.

Just got back in the truck after dinner and the alert’s gone… not sure what’s going on

What warning did you get pushed to your ford pass. I have a 24 lariat. I was getting a wrench every day that pushed to ford pass a 4WD fault always had 100% power but it would go away after driving a few miles and turning off then back on. Also at night got a charge fault if I plugged in to fast after coming home which also gave me a charge fault everytime departure time was set to kick off so annoying.

Did it for a months and finally took to dealer.

I had to have the SOBDM module replaced ( had to pull frunk apart drain coolant and freon lines ) some dork from high school getting his/her pay back to all the bullies from high school and GSM lever replaced.

Fixed the problem so far. Dealer had for 3 weeks . 1.5 weeks to trouble shoot 3 days to fixed rest was waiting on parts.

hope that’s not the issue looks like gsm lever and the SOBDM is known messed up parts issue “according to service rep”

2000 miles on my BRAND NEW truck. Got the 'service vehicle soon' message when I parked. I'm just shy of 30 days ownership right now. And I need to make a 100 mile trip tomorrow.

I would try charging the 12v battery. Nobody wants to have to deal with this type of thing, but the 12V battery seems to be the root cause of most problems in these trucks.

Agreed. Use a voltmeter to check the voltage on the 12v battery. If it’s low that’s probably your culprit. I just picked up my new Flash last week, but it may have been sitting for months.

I have over 10,000 miles on my 2024 F150 Lighting Lariat edition. I Have not received Service vehicle soon message yet. Keeping my fingers crossed.

ODB scanner results

I have gotten the U0111 twice in my Mach-E. It just a temporary glitch where communication is lost to the BECM. Both times, a restart cleared the error and a was able to drive normally. There was a BECM update available that the dealer applied (along with others) and it hasn’t happened since.

The interesting thing is that in the Mach-E, the message was “Stop Safely Now” which is much more urgent than “Service vehicle soon“ for the same code.
