Nice, mine too! I wonder if I'll hear from the dealer before the end of the week.Delivery estimate bumped this morning from 1/23-1/29 to 1/17-1/23. Traveling for work next week, hope I squeak it in before then.

Not too often you wish your vacation would end sooner then planned, butDealer called me today, they received the truck yesterday and will have it ready for me to pick up Saturday when I get back from vacay!
TL;DR Dealer says my truck is on a chip hold but Ford states it is in transit to the Dealer.Chatted with Ford today. My truck is built and awaiting shipment with estimated dates of 1/17-1/23. Then, after further digging on my part, my truck is on chip hold and they have no info on when the chip(s) will arrive. WTF, Ford?
Yes, this sounds the same as what they are telling me. They also said their systems only update on M/W/F, so a lot can change before the system updates.TL;DR Dealer says my truck is on a chip hold but Ford states it is in transit to the Dealer.
So interesting, I feel that we may have a very similar story here. I got my tear tag ~1/3 with an estimated arrival of 1/16-1/21. My dealership reached out to me on Friday (1/13) to tell me that it was showing a chip hold. I chatted with Ford yesterday to get an updated timeline and they said that that status just shows that it was on a chip hold at some point but they can't see if it still is. They also said that they see that my truck was delivered to the loading ramp for shipping on 1/15 (in time for the train). I asked them for a railcar number and they said that it hadn't been populated yet nor the tracker isn't updated yet but that isn't a surprise. (??) So maybe there is still hope for our trucks (although I know better than to hold my breath here)
PittsburghLightnig, How do you chat with Ford? I'd like to see what is going on with my order.Chatted with Ford today.

It’s pretty unsatisfying though…
How did you track convoy? Did your VIN come up on United Road or did they tell you it's on a truck? My incessant impatience has finally been satisfied. Truck is on the convoy and should have arrived today. Check from Parsons was going to arrive Monday (much to my disappointment, having asked for overnight) but through a stroke of luck its getting there Friday. All said and done, hopefully tomorrow evening I'll finally be sitting in my new truck. Almost feels too convenient with how things are shaking up, I'm mentally prepared for the inevitable car accident on the way to the dealer.
The Parsons' experience positive ? I usually use a local CU, but the Parsons' rate is unbeatable. My incessant impatience has finally been satisfied. I live over two hours away, but all Parsons wanted was a buy order with their address listed. I asked for 65000 since I'm trading in my Ranger and then paying the rest as a down payment. Parsons just wanted the "finance amount" to match the requested amount. It wasn't a purchase agreement as a hard agreement it was just the order sheet I signed to submit the order online to Ford. I did all of mine remote. By my understanding, I can still abandon the order. How did you track convoy? Did your VIN come up on United Road or did they tell you it's on a truck?
And what did Parson's require to cut you the check? In a similar situation with my local credit union. Hesitant to ask the dealer to remote sign a purchase order without first seeing the truck in person and making sure the invoice the correct amount. But I'd also prefer to not have to make two one hour trips to the dealer because I had to wait for a check in the mail.
It's been weird, they merged very recently. Like past two weeks, the initial loan officer I had left. They seem a bit overwhelmed, I had to call a few different folks and basically beg to get someone to talk to but eventually I did and then it was a painless process. Once they had my buy order and insurance, I signed loan docs an hour later, and the check shipped that evening. Hardest part is being very determined to get someone on the phone. If no one answered, I'd call back, and did so a dozen times until I got through. The Parsons' experience positive ? I usually use a local CU, but the Parsons' rate is unbeatable.
