Morning all Here is your weekly update. Ford has been doing slightly better with getting trucks built. I would expect those of you who missed the Christmas cut-off to start seeing built trucks very late this week or early next week. Hang tight!

CS chat says my truck is received at ramp 51 but after more questions they said it’s showing a micro chip hold. Shit.

CSX had my car in Ohio as of 5:29 PM last night, will be arriving in Selkirk, NY on 1/12 at 5:35 PM. Another 2 hour convoy from there.

While I'm glad I can track it over the phone, these Norfolk Southern locations are hard to understand, but I believe mine is west of Columbus heading towards Cincinnati. Ford still expects a 1/6-1/12 delivery, which unless trains suddenly start going a lot faster, I think is unlikely. It would be nice if it was in town for the long weekend otherwise I'll wait till the next to drive over and grab it.

If I deciphered correctly, my truck departed for Baldwin, FL at 15:30 today, and is scheduled to be in Tampa, FL on Jan 12 (CSX #NKCR 007384), so a couple days to unload and deliver to the dealer, then a couple days for the spray in bedliner and prep, it should be ready for pick up on or about 17 or 18th. I will be back in the country on Jan 22, YAY!!

I have a blend date of 12/22/22 but Ford still shows "production scheduled for...". I checked to see if the modules are on and they are, so that's something I guess.

Contacted my dealer today and they reported their system shows it's on a chip hold as of 1/5/23 and it says start/end dates are 1/14/23-1/20/23, whatever that means? Currently on Ramp 51, Flat Rock, MI.

It’s going to Tampa and not Jacksonville? I’m in Jax and got my rail car info today- I’ll check CSX tomorrow

Baldwin is a major CSX switching station S.S.W. of Jville, Tampa is an unloading station. My Mach E was unloaded in Jville and then went to the dealer via convoy - Lightning is going directly to Tampa before convoying to the dealer in Tampa.

Just got an update from Ford chat:

I see that your vehicle is currently in transit via Railcar # TTGX254358 (Canadian National Railways ). It is located at Ramp 51, Flat Rock, MI. Its current ETA is between Jan-21-2023 and Jan-27-2023.

BTW -- mine got the delivery estimate extended by three days yesterday. Now 1/9 - 1/15. All I could get from Ford was a Vehi Ship convoy, which is not trackable. So, I wait....

Well good luck with yours. I hope you get a surprise call in the next few days that your Lightning has arrived.
My arrival is bitter sweet as I will most likely go to say hi to the truck I patiently waited 18 plus months for, then walk away. Timing just did not work out, but that is okay. My electric truck dream will happen when the time is right and until then I do enjoy my Ram 1500. Well maybe not as much when I go fill up.

My wife's Tesla MY has been awesome so at least we have one EV in the home for now.

Do you know if it went by rail first or is this the only shipping information you've been given? I got my "shipped" status Sunday and Vehi-Ship convoy is all they've given me as far as info

That's all I got from Ford. I've not had good luck with the Ford chat, in that they usually just echo the delivery estimate from the website. Yesterday, the gave me the Vehi Ship convoy number, which I thought was progress. Looks like you can't do much with that, though. I have not played hardball and tried to get rail info. I told myself that I was going to try to remain calm and not get too into tracking....but, it hurts. )-:
