You inspired me, just called my dealer and unless Ford chat was lying to me about my chip hold, I’m back to pending launch readiness. I’ll try to be optimistic like you are, my immediate assumption was Ford lost the truck or it blew up or otherwise ceased to exist.So far my dealer has been great. I know they are going to try and force a couple of stupid dealer add ons like door ding and glass insurance on me, but they do answer my calls and look up information for me.
It's a small world too - I'm 200 miles from where I grew up in the middle of OK. A few weeks ago the Internet Manager at the dealer handed me off to one of the floor salesmen for follow up.
I recognized the guys name immediately. I went to church with his mom and family and knew him when he was a little kid. Hadn't seen him in probably 15 years. So it helps when there is a personal connection, but overall they've been very communicative and send updates.
