I should have snapped a photo. Broken black plastic piece right behind the mirror and 1" X 1" paint scrape. Otherwise mirror is fine - camera is fine and retracts fine.

Apparently loader forgot to retract the mirror prior to loading @Ford.

If the damage is contained to your circles then it really just needs a new mirror cap and not the entire mirror.

I'm hoping the Lightning is like the rest of the Ford FX50 lineup and the higher end trims allow programming the mirrors to fold flat: on locking, after X time, with last two buttons on keypad, (and a couple I don't know about because my truck is in junction point jail in Illinois,) Keyfob, PAAK.

As far as I know, you can either autofold on lock or there is a button on the driver's side door. Not sure about any of the other ways but I didn't see them in the manual.

There is an automatic function, but useless for my operation, I need to have mirrors folded and remain folded while pulling in/out of my garage, having them deploy before I back out is not useful so I remain a manual hit the button as needed guy.

I’m a - disable it, kind of guy. I live in a cold climate and far too many times have had to drive to work with my mirrors still folded in..

I've found the auto-fold feature to be a bit buggy. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I'm likely just going to disable it all together and just fold them when needed.

There’s no geo-fencing option currently I take it? Where you can set a radius around your house to fold on entry, unfold on exit?

Built notification was received 8/05 and I loved Ford’s optimistic email stating “…shipping can take from a few days to a week…”. I sold my Ram 1500 and here I sit with no truck in my driveway.

8/25 & counting - Still sitting at railyard

It looks like my luck is running out. My original delivery dates were 8/6-8/12.

Yeah I have, what, three times? Maybe I’m not asking the right question. I ask “Can I please get the last 2 primary and secondary statuses on my VVR please?” I give them the VIN and my order number and they say, “it’s been built, waiting on shipment”.
I just tried them again. Instead of estimated shipping date of 23 Aug, now they say 9/12-9/18. And it’s sitting in Flat Rock…. Still…..
