Blend date of 7/21 here. Super stoked. @TaxmanHog, my last 6 VIN is: G11064. I got confirmation today from my dealer that they'll arrange for me to get a test drive once they've confirmed mine has rolled off the line. I'm remaining a bit cynical and expecting my date to change again to protect my fragile emotions but so far things are looking good for this week's build schedule.

These are all California deliveries [Total P & D Days] over the past 30 days latest at the bottom of sort, you can see a trend related to rail traffic slowdown to west coast right now.

Greetings 7/18 Group Members from Your Future from a 7/11 Group Member.

Last week our Lightning Plant transitioned from a Three-Week "Down Period" during which older units were finished and things hanging were generally "Cleaned-Up".

The Original Plant was expanded incrementally with additional floor space and stations, and employees (and maybe additional shifts) were added to boost production. The original Exit door for Finished Trucks was closed and now they come out several New Doors.

From my point of view and available statistics, the week was successful except it slowed quite a bit at the end.

The slowdown seemed to occur about half way through the week (I was #464/802 on Blend Thursday).

Projected Blend Dates held to schedule and time from Blend to Completed Module Population (including final Tear Tag) was 1-2 days. At the point the Pop was done the "In-Production" Tag was added the next day. Within a day after the Tear Tag showed your FordPass will ask you to "Activate Vehicle". Unfortunately, if you try this it will probably tell you "Feature Unavailable" and you have to wait until delivery.

After this the next step will be "Built" status on your Order Tracker and "Shipped", perhaps with an email from Ford. Hopefully, this should happen within a few more days.

Dealer Locations within an estimated 200-300 mile radius of Dearborn should be Convoyed by truck transport fairly quickly with delivery (if they can position a full 6 truck load) within several days.

Locations further away (especially West Coast) are dependent upon Rail transport (most of which are grossly constipated at this time) and delivery could be 2-4 weeks away and "Shipped" status may be delayed while your truck waits in a staging lot.

My truck is starting to light up today. My blend date was July 18 and many modules are showing today on the tracker. Woohoo. Getting closer. Now I need to start looking at financing. Tear Tag just populated, not sure what that means.

Same here, Blend 7/20 and showing modules now. I don't see where the tear tag would be but I don't see anything other than the numbers after.

What's a tear tag out of curiosity?

You can view the trucks ECM/BCE program codes at this site, the codes will start to populate a couple days after BLEND day, a few more days and the TEAR TAG will populate as well, this indicates the programming of the trucks electronic controls are complete the file is archived with Motorcraft for future reference by service technicians as the need arises over the life of the truck, consider this the DNA of the trucks controls.
