With the Tesla system you could have agreed to a price and some day between the time you decide to purchase and delivery the price would go up. As a customer you have to pretty much take it.
No, once you order your vehicle Tesla honors the price.

Looks like they eliminated iced blue silver color.
Yes, iced blue silver is no longer available. Glad I pick mine up tomorrow at 9:30 am. XLT SB with max tow and 9.6 pro power......I just checked and if I built the same truck for 2023, the increase is $8200!

Bumfuck USA? You mean where everyone drives pickup trucks? I'm not talking about sales here, I'm talking about reservations. So the ZEV state thing doesn't matter.

But in any event, 13.3% of California households (not individuals, households) have income above $200k a year. Compared to 10% nationwide.

But you think most reservation holders have household incomes above $200k? It's electric, but it's still a ford pickup.
I am talking about reservations too. You might need to recalibrate on what people in bumfuck USA think about EVs. This thing is made for ZEV states and from Fords owns stats, 80% of customers are new to Ford as a brand. Brand loyalty doesn’t matter here.

$200k is not some pie in the sky amount that you think it is.

I don’t understand the logic behind a Private Offer for people who had a chance to order and chose to extend, but there is no type of special offer or price protection for the many of us who didn’t even get the chance to order. But much of this process has not made a whole lot of sense. At the end of the day, everyone will have to make a financial decision that serves them best and Ford will not be impacted by the decision.

It obvious Ford targeted markets where people drive already drive EVs-- CA, NY, Texas. Its more about bringing a pickup to EV fans Vs bring an EV to pickup truck fans.

I guess Ford figured in they could convince people to ditch teslas for f150s easier than they could convince pickup owners to transition from gas pickups into EV trucks.

It also makes sense that the barriers to EV ownership(example DCFC stations) is an easier hurdle along the coast than it is in middle America

Anyone still think they’re going to get a 400 mile EV truck from Chevy for $60k?

No..but its still a winner at $79,999.

I have a reservation for a Silverado and may "trade up"...we'll see. I'm a Ford guy and like the look of Ford better..but if the specs are better(range, charging) I may have to jump to GM.

Me too…and we’ll see. I’m betting the only 400 mile options will be 6 figures.

Private Offer value for extended reservations will not be available when ordering, but will only be available at the dealer level at pickup/purchase...
hahaha, they just can't help themselves! Welp, so much for that...

Bumfuck USA is all over. Currently in NY and have to drive half an hour to any kind of civilization and that's a Walmart - I am Bumfuck USA.
