2023 Platinum BC 1.4 after manual FDRS updates now offers OTA.

So I manually updated all my modules a few weeks ago via FDRS. At that time I got the binary coding for Forscan to enable BC 1.4.

Fast forward to tonight and I have this OTA update pending.

Reading through the description it almost seems to indicate that it knows I updated the modules manually and it's now offering the coding for BC 1.4.

Your thoughts?

Probably so, many reports are rolling in from 2023 Lightnings on this thread:
NOTE: many of these reports are clean full activation no prior manual updates via FDRS

Well I can certainly confirm that OTA updates will still roll in for stuff that we have manually added via forscan

Yes, I did the same months ago and received the update today.

Interesting, I just did a scan thru FDRS earlier today. Wonder if that’s what triggered the update

I just recieved my notice of my 1.4 ota, set for 1:30 am. I hope that it goes through without failing like some other update failures that I've encountered over the last 2 years.

Let me help you out. I think what you are asking folks (who didn't update manually) if they see the text in the yellow box that you have on the Update Now screen (not the release notes after install):

Received my BC 1.4 update last night and used it today. Night and Day difference. So much better.

Got my BC 1.4 update last night as well. Haven't had much testing but did make 1 lane change on it's own after I indicated. Looking forward to testing it more.

Update was successful last night. Just tested it with several lane changes on the highway. Lane changes were very smooth. We are going camping over the weekend, about 200 miles round trip. Will test it more then.

I have a ‘22 and am part of the beta test group. I’ve not received BC 1.4 yet

In FordPass I show I’m eligible for the parking front sensor CSP but I have not had it done.

I’m hoping to skip a trip to door-ding alley aka. the dealership. And since the BC 1.4 update supersedes the parking sensor TSB I’ve been waiting for that OTA.
Has anyone received the BC1.4 OTA without having the sensor CSP done first?

in recent weeks I’ve had the Gateway module update for better 12v performance. And today I got the window motor update.
Any thoughts on if or when I may get the BC1.4 update?

several posts before yours indicate that update is not a prerequisite.

Being a model year 2022, your right in line behind me, date unknown but not likely to far away.
