Man those Rebel 6 wheels look so darn good.

That looks really good with the color of your truck. I’m debating the same. Personally, I think they need the previous gen fender flares, which I believe Ford offers them in Ford parts. I’m looking at those now. I will probably add some 3M protective file on the rear to protect the paint.Just got my wheels on. Fuel Rebel 6-Anthracite / Black. BFG KO2 295 60 R20 +20 offset.
I like them, but not sure about the rear poke. I dont want to spray crap down the side, and these appear to poke out than previous setups I have ran. More of an issue with the rears than the front.
What are decent options?
-Fender Flares, Ive never done these because I hadn't ever wanted to drill....should I look at this option though?
-Ford OEM mudflaps. Im not sure this will provide enough coverage
-Clear Bra film?
Thank you! I think I am going to do the same. I bought a roll of Oracal Stoneguard, so Ill prob do the same and cut a few pieces over that section on each side. I ordered the OEM mudflaps, but they may not work that good with the wider tires. That looks really good with the color of your truck. I’m debating the same. I have KO2s and there isn't much noise. It's noticeable though. My problem is the impact on ride quality. It is worse than I expected. Also MPG suffered bad. Not sure if getting the speedometer would help at all with that.I have KO2s on my tacoma and want them on the f150, but dont want the noise like I get with the tacoma. I know the f150 cabin will naturally be quieter.
If I do get new tires, I think I'm going to use the decibel meter from my theater speaker readings and take measurements on and off the highway before and after the tire switch out so we can get an accurate % increase in noise.
I should have done that. The metric sizes are hard to figure, plus trying to get something that doesn’t rub. I figured going with what Ready Lift recommended was key.might be a bit late but you could switch to a 275/65R20 tire to reduce poke by ~ 3/8" (10mm)
I noticed a slight noise increase for the first few minutes driving out of Discount. But it’s negligible. Ride is not as nice as the stock scorpions, but it’s still very nice compared to my 2018 f150. I guess it’s a trade off of looks vs ride. I’ve always had BFG tires and find them decent in snow, and a good life span for driving. I see a lot of guys going Nitto, but my tire guy claimed they didn’t wear as well. Talk with Discount tire and they likely will swap these out - if you do this look at the Nitto Terra Grappler in 275/65r20 to also save 18#'s per tire for a better mpg and smoother rideI should have done that. My issue is not only the slight poke, but making sure new tires wont rub. I went with the 295 60 r 20 becasue Ready Lift had tried it, and it worked. I wanted to go 285 65 R20 to be a little taller, but honestly I dont know the strategy to avoid rubbing. Currently with the 295's I have 1/2" clearance, so no problem one bit. I wished I understood these sizes better and what factors into rubbing. I assume its a combination of both hight and width, but maybe im worng. 285/65/20 with 2in level won't rub. This is the setup I have.My issue is not only the slight poke, but making sure new tires wont rub. Aren't you on stock wheels though. Ive got +20 offset wheel.285/65/20 with 2in level won't rub. This is the setup I have.
That's correct, stock 20" sport wheels.Aren't you on stock wheels though. Ive got +20 offset wheel.
Offset is definitely going to factor into it. I’ve seen one guy run 35’s on stock wheels with the 2” level but you’d have a mess on your hands with an offset pushing the wheel outMy issue is not only the slight poke, but making sure new tires wont rub.
