After seeing previous posts, I spent the last month trying to decide if I really wanted to spend $280 on the Carlinkit Magic Box, just so I can occasionally watch TV in my truck. Last week I discovered this much cheaper Magicbox:

Only $110 and it works! You plug it into your USB port in the front compartment and pair it with CarPlay. Then you link it to either your truck’s hotspot or your phone’s. Then you can use the built in Google Play app store to download whatever apps you want. The device came preloaded with Netflix, and I successfully downloaded ESPN+, Paramount + and FuboTV. I was able to watch games in real time with no problems. The device is a bit slow, but once I get the video steam going it works great. The one downside I found is that the Peacock app isn’t available for the device.
