Would be great if that happened. Would love to have IoS versions of Google Maps or Apple Maps fully integrated with all features using CarPlay. I’m a long time Waze user would also like all those features there as well .

I can’t seem to get a clear answer on this but does the integrated Apple Maps pre condition truck for charging or do I still have to enter it into the factory nav?

Only factory nav and Google Maps on Android offer this right now.

So hoping not to hijack the thread, how are you preconditioning now while using Apple maps?

I'm in a warm climate so I don't worry about this, but just curious in case I decide my old winter clothes need to be taken out of storage ;)

I’ll switch to the native NAV about 20 minutes before if there is an another charger nearby that the native NAV knows about.

That must be fun trying to drive and then having to do that. I actually haven't gotten the factory nav to work, but each time I tried it was while driving, so gave up quickly. I might not even have it anymore if you have to subscribe to something.

The good thing for you in Florida is that you probably don’t need preconditioning very often. Here in Minnesota when it’s really cold is when I need it most

Thanks for posting. This inspired me to to take another look at Google maps. With Google maps you can easily find charging stations and add them as needed as a stop to your route. I think I will go Google maps for awhile. I've gone back and forth over the years anyway. In case you don't know you can install it on your iPhone and make it available on Car Play just like Apple Maps.
