I was testing some more after the update. I’ve noticed that while you can add Tesla Superchargers as a network, the app doesn’t list them in navigation. I even removed all other networks and it still wouldn’t list Tesla. Has it always been this way?

As far as I know, yes. As you've noticed you can search for "Charger" and they'll show up but Apple seems to show ALL Tesla chargers, including ones we can't charge at. It's like they don't have that data available on which can be used by non Teslas.

I believe it's for that reason that they don't show up in navigation. I just use the Tesla app to find them since it gives the price and availability as well.

You can use the charging app in the truck to find compatible Tesla chargers, but the Ford Nav doesn't yet have them for auto routing. You'd have to manually put in the address.

Apple Maps doesn't yet know that Fords can charge at Tesla. When you tell Maps you have a Lightning, even if you select the Tesla network as preferred, it won't route you to them because it thinks you can't charge there.

Updates are coming for both the Ford Nav and Apple Maps to integrate Tesla chargers.

Any sense of that timing? I bought a cheap Android phone and I'm testing with Android Auto, just to see how that experience is different or more useful.

Thanks, I did that, but there is not an update available for Ford Pass.

Apple Maps stopped reporting the correct battery level again for me this morning after working for a few days after updating FordPass

My wife forcibly updated Ford Pass on her phone. It still doesn’t work.
Both of us reported the bug to Apple.
