2024 trucks shipped from the factory with BC 1.2, so the animations for lane change should have been there since day one. It is very unlikely that you got a BC specific OTA. If you did, you would be the first Ford vehicle outside of the 2022-2023 Mach E's to get it.
That's what I was thinking. Odd that Ford would ship it out half baked on the 24s without the animations to match the mach e but it wouldn't surprise me. Makes sense for those who have enabled it on 22/23s for it not to be fully functional though as there are probably still additional updates required to the IPC.

OTA 6.8.0 for the IPC includes the animations for lane change. If the ADAS related modules are up to date but you don't have the IPC update, you can still enable the new features and they will work, but you won't see the animations on the IPC.

yeah I have it enabled on my 23 and noticed the lane change and in-lane repositioning were missing. Still need to go back in FORScan and disable that stupid curve assist as it's practically useless and dangerous with it's manic behavior.
