2024 trucks shipped from the factory with BC 1.2, so the animations for lane change should have been there since day one. It is very unlikely that you got a BC specific OTA. If you did, you would be the first Ford vehicle outside of the 2022-2023 Mach E's to get it.

That's what I was thinking. Odd that Ford would ship it out half baked on the 24s without the animations to match the mach e but it wouldn't surprise me. Makes sense for those who have enabled it on 22/23s for it not to be fully functional though as there are probably still additional updates required to the IPC.

OTA 6.8.0 for the IPC includes the animations for lane change. If the ADAS related modules are up to date but you don't have the IPC update, you can still enable the new features and they will work, but you won't see the animations on the IPC.

yeah I have it enabled on my 23 and noticed the lane change and in-lane repositioning were missing. Still need to go back in FORScan and disable that stupid curve assist as it's practically useless and dangerous with it's manic behavior.

I have a 2022 Platinum and Ford just came to my house and spent 90 minutes flashing updates. I still have the same bc that doesn't change lanes when I tap the turn signal stock. When I asked him what had been updated he told me all available had been applied.
It may be a limitation on the hardware to get the update.

If you are up to date on OTA software updates and your dealer performed CSP 24B56, then you already have the lane change assist feature hidden in the software of your truck. You next have to use FORScan to unhide the toggles in order to enable the new BlueCruise features. By default, they are off until you physically toggle them on. As of right now, you only have the improved lane centering software that was updated via CSP 24B56.

Alternatively, you can just wait until Ford send you an OTA update that enables these new features, but many of us got tired of waiting and enabled them ourselves via FORScan.

The changes needed to do this are not posted publicly. Message me the VIN and in your message, lmk if you have enabled auto-hitch or glare free lighting so I can send you the correct changed needed to not affect other things.

yeah that's the value I was looking at. Any idea what the difference is between FCIACCM Legacy and FCIACCM Preview? I was considering changing it to 1 to just remove the curve control but hadn't gotten around to it.

No idea, but if you're going to experiment, make sure you back up the IPMA config. That is one module you don't want to FAAFO with or it will throw all kinds of codes and prevent other features from working.

What are the steps to disable curve assist with Forscan?

I have not tested fully, but maybe this would work also? It says it adjusts speed for speed limit signs and curves. I definitely want the speed limit adjustment turned off.
