Just took delivery on Jan 27th, and within 10 days it's died. Had a Mach E since release with 0 issues and traded in for thr lightning.
Woke up in the morning. Started car via app as usual, battery charged to 85% was plugged in overnight due to temperature. Unplugged, started the vehicle and as I reversed out of my driveway got the warning to pull over slowly. As soon as the car stopped, watched my available power drop from 100 to 3, and another warning pop up to service vehicle immediately. Vehicle had full accessory but was essentially a very expensive street decoration. Had no issues present in the Fordpass app and no other notifications.
I was able to call ford roadside assistance who sent a tow truck to check the 12v, which was in range and charged. Vehicle then got loaded up on a flatbed.
Thankfully because I still had full accessory power i was easily able to use the emergency tow function in the sync to get it shifted to neutral.
Vehicle towed to local dealership based on distance, and when there they stated there could be a multitude of issues. Unfortunately for me however dealership stated they would not give me a loaner vehicle until March 10th.... and would not provide me with a rental. They then went on to say I should call the selling dealership so that they can fix the vehicle and get me one of their loaners/rental, and have them tow the vehicle to their service department.
I'm shocked that this was the customer service I recieved for what is obviously a vehicle issue that has caused a catastrophic failure within 10 days of ownership.
Not sure how others here have dealt with warranty issues, but dealing with the dealership so far has been a nightmare.
Also widly concerned that the vehicle in less than 2 weeks of ownership has failed. Having remorse now for trading in my issue free Mach E!
