My charge station pro has been working without issue for over a year. All of a sudden it would steadily blink blue while it was not charging, but was still functioning. When I plugged it into to charge, the light would go back to solid blue and charge normally.

Over the weekend, about a week after the blinking blue started I received the following message from the Ford Pass App "Something went wrong with your Charge Station." Now there is no indicator light on the charge station and the truck will not charge. If i cycle the power at the breaker, the solid blue light will stay for about 5 minutes, but the truck will not charge. After 5 minutes, the status light goes out and it appears there is no power.

Has anyone had a similar issue? Or know of the potential cause of the problem here?

I have been charging at the max 80 amps for the last year and the charger was installed in a new build and the wiring specs in the instruction were used as required.

The FCSP is known to overheat and shut down when set to 80a, like yours is. Might be what's happening.

You should be able to search and find others with the same issue. Seems most people dial it back a couple notches and it works fine again, though obviously at a slower rate.

I will try adjusting the dial to a lower setting and report back. I would be surprised if that is the issue, as the FCSP reported the error and it powering off even after not being used for several days.

Power off your electrical system and retorque the wiring connectors at the fcsp and breaker.

If that doesn't work, then try derating to a lower amperage.

Have not seen any posts like your experience, it's cold in Maine these days odd to think that it's a heat related issue.

You may want to verify the connections of the 240 line feeds are good.

It sounds like your Charge Station Pro may have a fault. But have you tried to charge your Lightning with another L2 charger? Is there any evidence of water intrusion into the charging plug?

Also do you have solid WIFI connectivity with your FCSP? I have had two instances of my FCSP displaying the solid white (indicating station reset) recently. It is still charging and communicating fine. The station resets left me speculating about software updates from Ford. My station does not report station resets due to power hits.

SInce day one, my FCSP will do a white cycle in the morning after unplugging from a prior day charge cycle where I leave the truck plugged in overnight.

We've speculated that it's doing a routine soft boot of the system after transmitting the most recent charging session data to Ford and a phone home to Siemens.
