Finally linked my Pro to Ford Pass but am getting error message about overheating. Running software 2.112.64.o.o.o. Does the software update just download some random night or is there something I have to download and install?
Glad you got it up and running. Give it a week and the update will just happen

Well the overheating problems are back again. Same exact issues as before with the constant stopping and restarting with a barrage of alerts from the app saying something went wrong with the charger. I'm in contact with a Customer Experience Specialist at Ford, so we'll see what happens.

My electrician ran #3 thhn wire today (good for 105AMPS and its on a 100AMP circuit). They connected the charger, it was on, I was excited! I even got the charger to connect to my network and through the app without issue. I have the Netgear Orbi mesh network so I was a little worried I would run into the same issue others have. Plugged the truck in and got excited when at 2 hours I had added over 80 miles! Then came the dreaded "Overheat" error. It's back to charging again but it appears I'm in the same boat as everyone else. Merely waiting for the firmware update to come to the unit in a few days. Not sure why we can't simply check for updates on this thing but oh well!

Hang in there for the update….it could take a week…and, it has worked for me for the last month..Example: My charging session from 36 to 90% completed yesterday evening…unplugged this morning with no issues or errors…..

I fail to understand how there’s not a “check for update” button or “update firmware” check

Mine was working fine after the update, but since the last week the issues are back.

Yep, thought the same…..but, software development doesn’t appear to be in Ford’s wheelhouse…..yet…..

Mine update to .68 worked great.
Labor Day drove hard 80+mph for 1.5 hours battery down to 18%. hot (87°) and humid charged no problem.
@Ford Motor Company
last week coolest night since installing charge station got the “something went wrong” message 4 or 5 times.
next charge, no errors.
haven’t been charging as frequently for past 2 weeks, so not able to see how frequent problem is occurimg.

*** insights worked on night with error messages, no insights on next charge. ***

So I set the max charge current to 60a in the ford pass app after I had the FCPS installed and received the overheating message. I was awaiting the upgrade from the .64 to .68. My software upgraded to .70 the other night, so I went back in to try and reset the max to 80a but it won’t let me.

Anyone else encounter this?

For the folks who got the charge station pro did it come from sun run if you just get it sent? Waiting on a shipment notification now. Also beyond the heat issues any other install thoughts for those of us as out to install?

Yes, I had it shipped direct to address of record (home), the return address on the shipping label was Sunrun location in California

I don't have the "70" update yet, but maybe it will address the issue of the charger not knowing what time it is. I have it set to start charging at 9:00pm at home, but about once every five charge sessions it doesn't start. If I unplug the charger and plug it in again it starts to charge immediately.
