Greetings to all,
I have a 2022 lightning ER.
I am using an openevse to charge the truck at 48 amps. The openevse is displaying about 17.5kw to charge 10% and it is taking about 1 hour 35 minutes. The math there isn't adding up. At that charge rate it should be about 1 hour 20 minutes to charge 13.1 kw.
I think that the 17.5kw is accurate as the time of 1 hour 35 minutes is pretty close to what it should be putting out.
Is it possible I'm losing about 4.3kw to charging losses over 10%?
Anyways, any insight from anyone would be appreciated. Like I said the time and the openevse total dispensed seems to add up, but the amount delivered to the truck is very short.
