Got it. Appreciate the response. Looking forward to adding this.yes, you need to install the radar and activate ACC via forscan.

bit.ly/bp-stableBluepilot or Sunnypilot? Trying to figure out the differences, and the DL links.
I'm on the Sunnypilot discord but....
I’ve not been following as closely recently. Is there a simpler harness solution yet, or does it still require soldering?Hey, I just want to say thanks for all the hard work on this everyone! I got my Comma3x installed and running the latest staging version of Bluepilot, and I extended my harness to the mirror. I went for my first few drives today, and so far, so good!
I'm printing the 8-degree window mount now and will most likely swap to the sliding version @Ajzride is using for easy, quick removal in the summer.
Looking forward to future updates!
there is an extension you can make, only need to crimp, no solderI’ve not been following as closely recently. Is there a simpler harness solution yet, or does it still require soldering?
OBD just keeps device powered between drives. if you don’t mind waiting on it to boot every time you can omit it.I ended up cutting and soldering in a 12 conductor extension. Didn't want to wait for the pins that are on backorder.
On a side note, I had a longer drive today, about 50 miles, and I noticed about halfway through that I had not connected the OBD2 plug. Thing is the Comma booted up and seemed to work normally without power from the OBD2 port.
When I realized it wasn't plugged in, I plugged it in while I the Comma was actively driving and didn't seem to see any difference.
Are there certain features or services that will not work with no power from the OBD2 port? Seems like it was working as intended without it.
Awesome. Decided to jump on the sale and finally ordered the comma ai. Luckily, I planned to do this sooner and had added the connector stuff to a mouser order earlier this year. So I just had to order the Amazon items to make my extension. I’m excited to get this going. Would have been nice to have for my road trip to MI or northern GA.there is an extension you can make, only need to crimp, no solder
check that you have the connectors for the new style harness. Comma redesigned about 2 months ago. Pins are the same but connector is different.Awesome. Good to know. I looked up your video on the extension and linked through to all the part numbers and checked them against what I had. Interestingly, I bought the stuff for the original version of the harness where the Q4 harness was modified. Is there a better source to verify I have the correct parts?check that you have the connectors for the new style harness. Comma redesigned about 2 months ago.
