Hello,

I am a new owner of 2022 Lariat ER. I think it was a mannequin on the dealer lot. Ford Pass says I have two CSP Campaign alerts.
1 : PAAK not functional (23B81)
2: High Voltage Battery (23B57)

My VIN is 1FT6W1EV4NWG01211

Could someone please tell me what other updates need applied?

Sync4 about displays version 22228_product revision 539.

I'm wondering what else needs updated?

That's all you show at the moment, no recalls and only two CSP's as you stated,

One of the FDRS guys [ @rugedraw ]can look up your VIN to see if there are other pending updates for the truck, based on the Sync version, you will eventually start getting catchup updates a few months after taking ownership

I'm convinced I'm never getting the SOC% update 😭. I've gotten soo many letters in the mail about over the air updates needed per my VIN 1FTVW1EL8PWG03685 might have to waste a day at the dealership for them to not do anything. I have only received 6.4 as of late.....

I'm convinced I'm never getting the SOC% update 😭. I've gotten soo many letters in the mail about over the air updates needed per my VIN 1FTVW1EL8PWG03685 might have to waste a day at the dealership for them to not do anything. I have only received 6.4 as of late.....

Thanks. Dumb question: will the updates listed remediate the two CSP findings?
I kind of think the APIM update will address the PAAK issue? But I'm not sure about the high voltage battery CSP?

I took before and after pics from the tech's FDRS screen when he did the battery CSP.
EDIT: It updated PCM, ABS, SOBDM, SOBDMB, SOBDMC, BECM, GFM2, . It did not update BCM, FHCM, SCCM, WACM, CMR, DDM or PDM.

Good point. When the mobile tech was here (light bar, BECM), he just applied the updates, did not do the test as far as I know. I forgot to ask him to do it and he seemed a bit rushed to get to his next appointment.

Does the software update make testing/ monitoring the battery modules more comprehensive?

Sort of. The software update tightens up the tolerance of allowed module imbalance before an error code is set. Some owners whose dealer updated the software without doing the module test started getting battery faults shortly afterwards. The dealer would have found the faulty module(s) and replaced it(them) had they performed the CSP as written.

That’s available power, not battery capacity. It is probably just reduced because the batteries are cold. It should come back. Also, after some of these updates it can take a while for the cells to rebalance and the software might be limiting you until that process completes. It just means it might take 4.5 seconds to get to 60 instead of 4.

Ok, that's good to know. I knew I was going to have this maintenance, and I was waiting a few days before charging it. I read to charge to 85%to maintain optimum health... I'll give it a few weeks to see how it recovers. Thanks!

I came out to my 22 Lariat ER at lunch time and it said 93% power. There has been no work the truck since Thanksgiving and the high voltage battery was down to 60%. I put it on the charger (Level 2) when I got back from lunch to charge it back up to 80%. When I started the truck, it read 100%. I do not recall having this happen previously.

I also did not have any error messages or warning lights on the dash. Except for the 93% power, everything looked normal.
