Well, my worst fears have been realized: I don't have the wiring. I still want to try it, but god am I nervous about running wire from the CCM. Also had a few more questions (and I have read the entire thread)

1: Has anyone done it on a '24 XLT?

2: The CCM part number seems to have changed for 24. The one listed in here includes a bracket, the model for '24 on Tasca does not, unless I am looking at just the CCM and the one with the bracket included is a different number.

Nevermind, found the correct sub assembly for 24: NL3Z-9E731-A (Tasca part). Looks like the correct wiring harness for that is RL3Z-15K867-Q (Tasca)if you have the wiring. I suppose since I don't have the wiring, I can skip the harness and run a custom line to the IPMA, saving a bit of money.

So now this has gotten more expensive than I planned, but I suppose is still doable. I'm just so nervous about running wires and wiring the plug in general. I've read all 40 pages of this thread, and still don't understand the wiring diagrams lol.

I will forever kick myself for not waiting just a bit and realizing the Flash wasn't that much more expensive.

get a 24 ccm and the wiring for the ccm and then you can get a deutsch connector to attach it to the ccm wiring, get rid of the other parts of the wiring and what wires you have in it match to the closest color and simply drill a hole put a rubber plug in the firewall and inside you dont have to cut your wiring fold it over and put a deutsch connector in it. and then on the other end put a connecting deutsch. essentially there is one under the hood and under the interior

also go to the comma ai website and order a q4 harness, its 90 bucks but you dont have to cut your factory wiring. its in the experimental area, here is a closer look at mine since i know it works im going to redo it to tie it all together.
Correct, skip purchasing the bumper harness and make your own 4-wire harness from the IPMA (driver side module under the dash) to the new CCM. I think it is probably easier running your own new wires than trying to deal with replacing the bumper wiring harness.

Like @dr1983 says, use the deutsch connectors near the bumper by the new CCM to give the ability to unplug the CCM for future bumper removal.

Concentrate on the posts in this thread that give the all of the part numbers for this install. The pins and pigtails for the IPMA plug, the CCM plug and CCM part numbers are all listed, and were all available on Tasca.

The deutsch connectors and 25' lengths of the correct wire colors were available on Amazon.

Miscellaneous connectors, shrink tubes, etc are also all available on Amazon.
as you see mine had all the wires and i just eliminated them and built it because it had the right plugs to use for the truck wiring from the comma ai website. If you get the harness from them let me know i can tell you what wires to cut and splice into

like @B177y you don’t necessarily need the harness but does make it easier to plug into the ccm and then strip it and use the scrap harness for your harness and all you have to buy is ccm, harness, deutsch connectors, and the comma ai harness (if you don't want to cut up your factory harness) programming is easy. just like all the information in the forum, makes it easy. don’t get thinking or it’ll freak you out. there is another forum too that shows what numericals your truck is that is a good guide just in case you change the variables on your asbuilt and can’t get back to square one if there is an issue(ask i will tell you i hankered it up pretty badly and had to resort back to this because i tried to go the easy route on forscan🤦‍♂️.) https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt

Do we know for sure that a vehicle without the front parking ultrasonic sensors is able to get it to work? THose are not on my XLT.

100% yes.

Mine is a 2024 Pro, no parking sensors. The ACC/LKA works with the new CCM (radar) and the existing front camera.

The forscan programming tells your truck modules that the new CCM is there and tells the IPMA to integrate the CCM and camera to allow the feature. The other module changes allow the control switches in your sync screen and the new steering wheel switch if you add that.

let me check and look into that, mine have park sensors on the bumper, did you check the wiring on the driver side to see if you had the wires? look at the pic here and look on the left side thats the ipma color.

also ensure when you get in there if you do to first to see if your values in the ipma is turned on to power up the ccm. I had to look through all the forums and found it. So with just these two pages minus the programming which i have screenshots of i can send aswell, it will take you less time maybe 3 hours. then all of 5 days it took me🤦‍♂️

The driver side is where I don't have the wires, hence my sadness lol

Did you run directly from this connector to the IMPA plug on the driver side?
you can buy the ford pins to plug into where you have no pins thats easier then splicing and then run directly to the ccm. you just have to pop the cover off the clear piece then push the new pin in. its just adding pins

No need to be sad, this is where you are adding the pins and wires, into that black harness. Then you run those wires to the new CCM connector. Add in the deutsch connectors along the way to aid in disconnecting for maintenance. Then Forscan your changes. Then you have ACC/LKA!

Yes that's what I did it worked great. Best mod you can do. The pig tail from ebay is made just for doing this. Only has the wires you need the ones you don't are sealed off so it is water tight.

If anyone has a salvaged bumper harness, preferably from a 22-23 truck (ML3Z-15K867-NA), they’d consider selling please PM me. I’m starting to plan for this mod and would like to get a look at that.

Hey there. I am one of those who has the wiring on the driver's side but missing on the passenger side. I already installed the module but couldn't get the CCM in forscan, then I realized this :)

I ordered this part and planning to go directly from the driver's side, since it's much more easier from the posts I'm reading. The question is; I already have wires there, I'm planning to remove those, seal them well and zip-tie them there. That shouldn't be a problem, right?
