I get 2.9 to 3.0 doing 73mph. 264 to 273 miles from 100 to empty. Of course most legs are 80% down to 10 - 20%, and that's only 164 - 191 between stops max unless we start at 100%.You must get much better efficiency than we get in our GT. The Lightning will have 30 to 40 more miles. We only get about 220 - 230 on the highway.
I took the comments to be that Tom got 270 as compared to me getting the same with 100% battery, so no difference in range but big efficiency difference in driving a box down the road vs an SUV.
I would have taken the Lightning over the Mach-E had it worked out that way. Now, I'm thinking of keeping the 2022 Mach-E (sold our 2021) for maybe 18 months, ordering a 2024 Lightning or 2024 Explorer EV, with the anticipation that both will have notable range increases over today.
