2023 Ford F-150 Lightning Lariat ER
Confirmation from my sales guy this morning that our Lariat does qualify for the $7500 incentive (I was pretty sure, but I like having it in writing ;) ). Can't complain about a discount that sizeable! :)

Now I just need the truck...

That Loan rate is a bigger deal than many think. If you're not paying cash then you really need to pay attention to the "cost to finance" because even with these discounted Lariats it can be costly.

If you got a 5 year loan for 60k at 7.5% (thats about where many of them are now) it's:

Payment Every Month
$1,202.28
Total of 60 Payments
$72,136.61
Total Interest
$12,136.61

If you had a 2.9 rate on the same loan it should be:

Payment Every Month
$1,075.46
Total of 60 Payments
$64,527.43
Total Interest
$4,527.43
Not always true, I did the math, and the 7500 cash incentive came out more positive than the 3.9 rate. Yes, you pay more interest, but the cost of the vehicle is lower. Don't just look at the interest rate, look at the total out-the-door cost.

My Lariat showed up today. I ordered 2 different XLTs (Long story about disagreement over color, and price changes) as well, one in March and one a couple weeks after the Lariat (ordered 7/18/23). .

Dealer says the will apply $1500 ($500x3) to whichever vehicle I take, but of course I am stuck with this dealer.

Spoke with salesman, He initially was unaware of the Lariat - XLT incentive disparity. Looked it up and agreed that they will sell more Lariats for sure.

No other discounts (they have my $1500), but MSRP and $250 doc fee so I guess I will be OK with that. I ordered the XLT in a different color after deciding that the added Lariat features were not worth the $5000 or so difference. And then Ford later changed the pricing structure yet again with the new incentives.

Now if I wait for the last XLT, I get the color I wanted in the end, but lose all the other Lariat features
XLT after incentive, dest fees and doc fee : $71485 (before fed $7500)
Lariat after incent, dest fee, and doc fee : $71540 (before fed $7500)

Both are bare bones ER builds, mobile charging delete, Tow technology, but not max tow package.

I called the marketing # to chat about a base MSRP problem I am having and asked about the 11116 rebate. The marketing contact could not find that rebate in the systems she had access. She recommended working with the dealer to find this.

I got mine last month which was about 2 weeks early for this deal . I still got 15k off MSRP before the 7500 tax rebate, so I did ok. It's great you all that are getting it. Congrats

Anyone got $15k off in the lease combining fed tax rebate and ford rebate?
Not sure where you are getting these numbers but Ford is giving 5000 off for leases on a Lariat. The fed tax credit goes to Ford Credit and they aren't passing it on to lessees, because Greed.

You answered my question.
I was thinking of the latest $7,500 rebate from Ford combined with Ford passing $7500 credit to the lease.

oh well!

I wonder if they made this cash available since the financing incentive expired early this week and no trucks were delivered so nobody got to take advantage of that deal.
I orderer on 9/5 an my dealer will honor the September financing incentive OR the one available when I pick it up (sometime this week, it's on the truck between Detroit and the dealership now!)

Man add that to the fed credit and your looking at $65k for a lariat ER, unless you have really bad charging or just hate EV's this is looking a lot more reasonable for a truck. I kinda wish i would've waited... now I know though wait till October of 25 before i trade in, unless of course the T3 is coming in quick.
Definitely. I feel like a sucker for paying $75k for my Lariat SR in February. I looked into trading up to an ER and the dealer wouldn't offer me more than $48k. I love my truck and the SR is just fine for the way I use it but it sucks to know that I'm basically locked into the vehicle for life...unless I'm prepared to lose a ton of money. Maybe when Chevy goes to market they will offer some better incentives to switch!

My dealer here in Mass is saying that I can either do the Customer Cash on my XLT, or the backdated promotional financing rate of 3.9%, not both. Does that sound right or dealership math?
That’s the way it’s been for other ford trucks I’ve ordered. You can either use incentives available at time of order or at time of delivery. You can’t combine them.

is this still going? my local dealer isn't showing it on the window sticker. this is important, as i'm about 60% of the way to having recruited my best friend from high school to trade in his 350 superduty...

The incentive does not show up on the sticker. For this Lariat $7,500 will be taken off at purchase.

Plus if you meet the requirements for tax credit it qualifies for a $7500 tax credit when you file your 2023 return early next year.
