It's under entertainment, but doesn't show up without a Streaming subscription. (Mine had expired so I signed up to test, not there before despite being connected to wifi, is there after).

I have it only because I manually installed it using FDRS. Interestingly enough, I still have the trial for Ford Streaming, it is active... but the truck doesn't think so. Trial hotspot works, but it can't connect to its own hotspot, so I just connect it to my phone's hotspot and it works great, especially while charging at a DCFC, and watch a couple of YouTube videos while I'm waiting.

I looked it up in the Fordpass app. It also works when connected to WiFi. That’s must be why it worked when I tried it in my driveway, connected to my home WiFi.

Was there a Free Trial Period for Ford Streaming? I can’t recall, I just signed up. I’ll pay the $10 for this month and then cancel just to see if I can get YT.

Probably not.

When it was built was the software installed at that time.

When your dealer receives it, you can ask the service dept when the next OTA is scheduled - they can see that.

I think this one is different than the Streaming or am I wrong? One is Streaming services and the other is for Wi-Fi with AT&T. I’m so confused lol

Edit: I just went back and it now says that the trial period is 30 days and started with warranty activation date. The first time it said three months.

I went through my Ford Account and the free trial was gone lol, I never activated it. But I can always cancel this monthly subscription.

Sorry, I hadn't opened Connected Services since setting up the 250 kWh at EA. When I clicked through and tried to activate the trial, it then said it had expired 30 days after warranty activation. I'll be interested in your experience with it. As @donalddon said, it must've come and gone and I never used anything. I got my first scolding by Alexa for asking a question that required Ford Streaming the other day. All my home automation stuff Alexa requests work seamlessly without the paid plan.

My 2021 ICE truck had a clearer picture that was really noticeable when using the 360 cameras.

That's because it's smaller screen with the same resolution.
