Yup, thought about that with the old adapter but looking at the door pockets it wasn't going to work with the old one as it was bulky. This Lectron one seems a lot slimmer so it might work. I was hoping @BestEvMod would modify their center console to fit that adapter
I'm still waiting on my Ford adapter, so maybe when that one comes in I'll size it up next to the A2Z and see which one is more suitable for a door dock.

for those with a 3D printer and the Tesla provided adapter, this was designed by @shoopg on this forum who deserves the credit. I have printed it myself, added a little felt to the inside, and it works great.

That's a good idea. I might take that design and modify it for the door. I've got short arms, so reaching across to the glovebox would be a little tricky for me.
