FordPass has never worked

Took delivery of my 23 in March. Still no solution for FordPass app. Been to the dealer a dozen times and they haven’t been able to fix. I’m at my wits end. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is the message I get in the photo. Dealer reassured me the vehicle is not in deliver mode.

I’ve tried 12v battery disconnect. Not sure what more I can do.

Reached out to FordPass support they tell me the dealership needs to resolve the issue, nothing they can do. Dealership has no clue on how to fix it. Tried several different phones no luck.

Call and ask for the BEV team, and get a case number. Looks like the dealershipnever reported it sold.

The dealer should have had this set up and working before you drove away from the lot. My FordPass was working before my wife drove her MME off the lot as well as my Lightning. This is standard delivery procedure for the dealer. You'll need to get the dealer to complete their sales process on the truck, including the setup of FordPass

When I picked up the truck they tried to sell me a maintenance package because EV “go through breaks a lot”. I lost it on them. I think I’ve used the breaks 5 times in 6 months.

I hope you haven't broken 5 times in 6 months...

Brakes...

You use them at the end of every stop, when the blended braking switches to the pads. You just may not notice.

But to your point, EVs in fact rarely go through brakes.

Yup. I was just being sarcastic on the brakes. But it was the upsell that really pissed me off with a blatant lie. Poor experience no the less. Love the truck but feel like I’m missing out on some features without the app.

Unfortunately, some dealers persist in having staff push unnecessary things. Ford sent a letter a few years back asking them to stop recommending maintenance that wasn't on the schedule, and many ignored it.

My mother gets pushed crap (close to 90) and she always says "I'm going to call my son to see if the manual says that"...

It’s amazing they take advantage of people, especially a senior. This is why people go to independent garages for services, the dealerships have such a bad rap. But in all honesty this my first Ford ever, have owned several other makes and can’t recall ever having this poor of an experience.
