How does one update the app from Android? Only version 5.0.0 shows up in the Play Store.

Need an Android person or two to weigh in. From what I’ve observed it seems there are different Android dates based on versions or manufactures. Not sure how they roll it out. IOS it hits a single store and everyone has access at the same time.

5.0.1 has not reached my corner of the internet .... yet .... might take a few hours to propagate to the distribution nodes.

Same here, I can start the fan and extend the running time but cannot adjust temp, turn on seat warmers, etc. Not a huge deal, I would rather have the trip planner back

yea no help. I have all the settings you have checked. looks different on the smaller screen in my PRO but it's all there. must be a lariat or platinum thing. they don't want us minions to adjust our temperature or turn on our heated seats.

Supposedly a bug update is coming in FP 5.0.1 that should resolve this aberration, I see above it failed your situation..

This is why as an iOS user I struggle even more to deal with Ford OTA's. I am spoiled with clean and all encompassing release of updates. Android users are at least somewhat used to a world of haphazard and random deployment of updates.

My bad, I dug deeper into the at app. and found things I didn't notice before.

Anyone had issues charging to 100%? On the old app, I could just hit continue to 100, but I don't see that now. I tried changing my homes charge limit to 100 as well. The truck is just sitting at 87% not charging.

When charging at home before a road trip last week, there was a slider, and I just pushed it up to 100. DCFC on the road trip stopped at 90, could not find the setting to change that. I just hit stop on the EA unit when I got to 80%.

I’m not sure exactly how android updates work vs iOS. Could there be a delay with the approval process through Google? Is Ford still working on a fix and hasn’t submitted it to Google yet? Does the Android app have the same issues that the iOS 5.0 version had? I’m just thinking out loud here.

The usual release pattern is google first ios second, APPLE has more stringent vetting protocols.

It is completely different code in the iOS version than the android version. It makes sense that it would have different bug fix updates that don't appear at the same time.
