Anyone else having issues with their front light bar partially lit? Noticed last night the section around the passenger headlight and half the frunk not lighting.

That looks like a defective of some kind. You could try pulling the negative on the 12V battery and waiting a minute and reconnecting to see if it resolves itself, but my guess is it needs to be replaced.

Disconnected 12V. Light bar came on for 1/2 sec and then back off.

Oh really? That is odd...yeah definitely seems like a defect, I'd check in with a local Ford dealer.

Mine did this just last week after I was cleaning the truck and mashed the frunk button against the seat. Came out to the truck sometime later and found the frunk not seated fully and the light bar half on just like the picture: off on the left. I simply cycled the frunk up and down. It closed fully and then I turned the truck on and it came back on. 35kmi has never happened before and only this once that I know of.

Mine started with this problem 3 days ago. But in addition to the drivers side half of the light bar it also includes the whole drivers side head lights unit. I tried cycling the frunk. Have not tried disconnecting the negative lead on battery. Sort of makes me think a fuse issue. Not sure probably will have to make an appointment.

I did get this message on 8/26. But then went away. Pretty strange as I don’t have any 3rd party devices or anything like that. I’ve had the for a year now as of tomorrow lol first issue I’ve had

I had a similar problem on my 1989 Thunderbird SC where the headlights on the right hand side of the car went out. I believe the dealer replaced the headlight control module which solved the problem.

Each half of the lightbar is provided power from that side's headlight assembly connector. If that helps with troubleshooting.

Looking at it and how it is pulsing I strangely want to mod mine to look like K.I.T.T. from Night Rider 😉😎
Wasn't there a pickup version in Team Knight Rider?

My dealership confirmed the center light bar needs to be replaced bc of a dead spot (yellow circle), they tell me the dead looking spots circled in red are normal. Does everyone's look like that?

Sadly - The corners of my outer lights above the headlamps have that small dim portion like is circled in your pictures, so you are not alone.

I never spoke to my dealer about it - just assumed it was the connection area where there was not a diode.

Sometimes I wonder if LEDs are really the answer for lighting. Yes, they do save power, but they seem to "break down" more often than incandescent bulbs. At least thats my experience, especially with LED house A19 light bulbs.

I replace home bulbs less than 1/10 as often since switching to LEDs. In fact, the ones that fail are mostly in bath fixtures that are totally enclosed and subject to fan vibration.
It helps if you don’t buy the super-cheap ones from Amazon.
