It totally is! The purpose is to expose those people perpetually on the precipice of cancellation of the hallowed F150 Lightning, the vehicle for which ownership of was their sole purpose in life and in some cases; their birthright.

There are two camps, those who want to pay the Tesla/Chevy Saturn no-haggle price and those who want to buy the Extended Range Pro model, even though Ford effectively told them to fuck off and spend ~$25K more for the ER XLT, since the only purpose of the Pro is to have a low starting price.

They think that having tantrums in a Ford truck specific forum and acting like a Karen is going to magically change their situation. Even though they're being given sound advice and experiences from other members who have a wide range of opinions when it comes to Ford Motor Company.

As a fun game, in some of these posts; while you're reading replace 'F-150 Lightning' with 'Crack' as in 'Crack-is-Whack.' So that these
Lightning fiends seem less annoying and more entertaining.
I've found that the entertainment content of posts like this far outweighs any excitement I Have in getting an F150L. I've cancelled my 5/20 reservation, and am reserving again to get at the back of the line.

Ford absolutely listens. So keep telling them you want the LR Pro.
I agree with everything you said. However, I feel like keeping on the press for the Pro ER is a waste of effort at this point. Ford would have to be completely oblivious to think this wouldn't be the best selling trim/option by now - to me anyway it's blatantly obvious they're strategically limiting it to fleet sales and they likely have no intention of changing that any time soon.

I figure that's the issue was well, they know they're going to have to send all of the ER Pro to the fleet orders so they want to push individuals up to the XLT. But again, if enough customers are asking for it hopefully they'll reconsider.

Since the battery packs are modular, I wonder if they can be upgraded later. Maybe the ER has 4 packs and the SR 3 packs. It would be great if we could add a pack later.

If the rebate gets approved, the Pro is a great deal. Especially for the lucky people in Oregon who don’t pay sales tax and get a $2,500 state incentive. They would get the Pro for $25k.

The Pro ER would be 40% more expensive than the Pro SR for 30% more range. The XLT ER would be 80% more expensive than the Pro SR. You can almost buy two Pro SRs for the price of one XLT ER.

I'm dropping my complaints about no Pro ER. Yes, I'd buy one if offered, but it's not.

The Pro is a fleet model, they didn't have to offer it at all. They did to get a truck under $40k to the consumer. They have no obligation to offer other fleet models to consumers.

No. The pro SR is $40k and the XLT ER should be about $60k although final pricing hasn't been announced. That's only 50% more.

I'd they are doing pricing after the federal tax credit and local incentives it could push it closer to an 80% increase. Jus the (potential) federal credit of $12,500 makes it 73%.

Why would you cancel and not just tell the dealer to code 99 the order when you place it ? When you do decide to get it then your original timestamp would put you near the front of the line at that time /

You are correct.
Of course living in Texas I get no local incentives ?

It's non-transferable
The actual answer to this would be to purchase the vehicle and then sell it. Of course this would still require you to qualify for financing.
