I Feel Like I'm in a Lassie Episode

So something was different this morning when I got into the truck...I kept getting that 3 tone sound nonstop until I turned on the truck, then got it 1 more time when I turned on the truck (normal)

What is it girl? Did little Jimmy fall into a well again? All you old farts will know what I'm talking about!

When shutting off the truck, I get it again nonstop until I close the drivers door.

So what is she trying to tell me? No real changes from the previous night. New Emporia EVSE because BOTH of my Wallboxes have failed (probably from the heat) no updates pending, no updates added through FDRS. After searching the manual for 'tones' (do you know how many times tones is mentioned?) I can't find anything that would explain what Lassie is saying

About one day out of every 3 -4 weeks my truck will change the tones and beeps. No rhyme or reason. Not consistent. You never know what they mean. It's just bizarre and random.

Turn your headlight switch Off, then back to Auto.

I get the half hearted tone (half a ding cycle) when pressing the start button ...... I've played with the lights routine, only a temporary fix if at all.

Yes, Lassie, Timmy fell in an big oil well this time, so he won't be home for dinner at Mr. Greenjeans' diner, has to bathe with Dawn first.

I hate those dang chimes, and idiot lights, and the range guess-o-meters, phone trees, Windows Updates, LED headlights blinding me, among other things...

I had two Wallbox EVSE. Both Pulsar +, one 40 A and the other 48 A. The idea was the two could share a 100 A service. The 48 A died a couple of months ago and the 40 A died this past week.

So I went to turn the headlight knob this morning (in the dark) and noticed that there were no lights illuminated. Turned it one notch and the light came back on. Went ahead and turned it off and the back to auto, and Lassie finally stopped barking

Same headlight issue the MachE suffers from. There's so many little software glitches, that code base has got to be a nightmare. Hey @Ford Motor Company, Open source your software, let us take a crack at it.

Except in this case, it’s not a software issue. The fix is to replace the switch, per SSM 51696.
