Left taillight assembly for a 23 lightning

Broke the lens on left taillight. Ford wants $2200 for light assembly. Does anyone know where to get an aftermarket one or how to get an OE part at a reasonable price.

Should be a handful available on ebay for $500-$750; just make sure you get the right one depending on trim (PRO/XLT vs Lariat/Plat)

Ya, with all the internals, I would see if you could separate the lens from the body's & just swap them out....Don't they have back up sensors in them, have to be re-calibrated/adjusted? (Thinking out loud)

Just to confirm Paul's figure - I also had a left tail light broken. Body shop quoted me $2,500 altogether. The part alone was $2,200. The $300 additional was broken down to $180 for installing & $120 for the blindspot sensor adjustment.

In Canada, the left tail light is C$3,300 including installation and tax. I got hit by a bus while parked. The body shops here are backed up 4-6 months and it's probably not legal driving without a tail light, so I paid for it myself and got reimbursed by insurance when the rest of the body work was finished. I think the blind spot detector is in there and probably a lot of other electronics, but it still seems overpriced.

If your broken tail light has the BLIS sensor still intact, you can move it over to the new tail light and it will work fine, no calibration/programming needed. Just remove 3 Torx screws. That's what I did with a tail light I bought off eBay.
