Then I see @REDHORSECA pictures and realize with Pro Power on board, I need to add more to my Lightning not reduce.

Now I can carry that spare Hilti battery charger plus all of the battery operated tools. And I can add either my Lincoln 110v wire feeder or my Miller 240v multi process welder, plus and air compressor and my Hypertherm plasma torch.

Yea, @REDHORSECA just made me realize I'm not carrying nearly enough stuff around 🤣

With the Frunk I was thinking I was not going to need the Decked system.

But, after emptying the stuff out of my two Decked drawers, I don't think I want to put all this stuff/crap in the Frunk.

I'm still undecided about which direction I was going with the Lightning: BedRug + BAK Revolver X4S or the Decked drawer system?

I just reached out to my contacts at Decked, when I purchased mine in 2018. To see if I can still get the same discount I got in 2018.

I’ve had great luck with the BAK flip and a BedRug. The organization of the Decked system seems very nice though (lord knows I’ve tried several container systems in mine and failed). If there’s a deal on the Decked it might sway me😀. Best I’ve found so far is 5% ordering through Lowes.

@REDHORSECA did you have a bed floor mat or anything under it? Did it make much noise?
I had a drop in liner before the Decked drawer system was installed. I removed the bed liner to install the drawers.

So I just had the bare bed under the deck drawer. I did take my truck off road often. I rode the truck hard off-road.

No noise, if anything the bed was quieter with the drawers installed. It’s solidly mounted, so it doesn’t move.

Truck yesterday after I pulled the Decked drawers out. It was in the bed of the truck for 4+ years.

I was going to suggest some Dewalt t-stak boxes but I see one in the first picture :ROFLMAO:. Any chance you can see how the t-staks fit in the frunk? Any way you can get two across? How many high?

I was actually looking at this. I may have to revisit after I save two months of fuel, then it won’t seem expensive. In all seriousness I’ve kind of been leaning towards this with a full shell. I have not done the research on a shells impact/improvement to range yet.
This is the battle I go through mentally. Full shell means you cant come over the side and access your tools. I went with a diamond back cover on my Tacoma. The advantage is that it is super solid and you can get to things from back or front/side. You can throw lumber etc on top too (with the exception of the fact that the lock handle gets in way.)

Disadvantage is that if you hauling something tall and deep taking the bar out is a pita.

I will gladly answer this, hopefully in the next couple of week 🤞

I started looking at solid tonneau with integrated rack too. Might have to add that option into the decision matrix. I had the BAKFlip F1 and held up well for 11 years and 180k miles. I do kind of like the rolling option of X4. I will have to look at the Diamond Backs. I started thinking shell for protecting items like baby trees and bee hives when I move them (which isn't that often), but I have to leave the tonneau up when I do.

Maybe I could get Snugtop and BAK to have me range test their products on the Lightning to see if there's a difference.

I didn’t forget.. You can get two across if you pull them forward a bit and you can go two high. I have decided to go decked system though. I’ll send pics of the t-stack in there.

installed the Decked system and so far very happy with it. There is a mod to get the tstacks to fit sideways, but obviously haven’t done it yet. My gun case fits nicely on top of the divider tabs (which need to be removed to turn tstack) so I’ll try it for awhile first.

How's the space around the Pro Power panel with the Decked system? It looks like there's space, is it easy to get your hand in there?

@Amps It is very easy, with tailgate down or through the ammo can lid.
