I would take a step back on the 'no loaner' concern... you are 'assuming' they don't provide loaners, or they won't just for 'your' situation, but whatever the reason, it could also be that they have NO more loaners to give you, or that they CHOOSE not to 'loan' vehicles - there is a BIG risk, insurance wise, for 'loaned' vehicles.
I would always opt for the RENTAL reimbursement in the first place. Yes, they are not going to 'give you' whatever amount you wish, they will 'give' you enough to rent 'a' vehicle - it is not going to be make/yr/model specific... but YOU can chip in to get the vehicle you WANT - that's up to you.
Your own Auto Insurance works the same way, well, that's IF you chose to pay for 'Rental Car' coverage on your own policy, and what 'level' of Reimbursement you wish, such as $30/$50/$75 per day. If you chose the $30 per day, well, yes, you are NOT going to get a F150, likely, you'll be more in a Ford Focus.

Oh well, like is tough. Sometimes we look a gift-horse in the mouth and still complain. No one 'has' to give you 'anything' in the first place.

secondly, 'leaving' the vehicle with the dealer is TOTALLY up to you. If they don't have the part, or no ETA, then DON'T leave the vehicle there and THEN complain that they don't 'give' you what you expect. Drive your truck UNTIL they get the part. You can charge your truck, maybe not the 'way' you wish, but you can - it is not keeping you from driving it.

Thank you. I have a case open with the BEV team.
Mine went last month (SOBDM failure). It took 1.5 weeks to get the part after going through Ford Canada Customer Service to accelerate the part delivery. I drove on DCFC until they got the part, and then they had to spend another 1.5 weeks to get the proper new part since the first part came in previously used. FCS Canada helped get things moving but they are parts challenged right now for sure.

BEV team in the US should help get the part for you - stay after them and ask them daily for an ETA.

I'm really tired of dealing with this s.... with Ford. No loaner , no eta on parts, they just don't give a sh....t
When I brought mine in for like 10 recalls, they paid for the rental 100% which was a gas f150. They need to cover your rental. This o clearly a warranty issue like what.

my truck won't charge on level 2 only on level 3. The dealer said that there is a bad module. Ford does not have a replacement module and no eta on getting one. No loaner truck. Ford said they will pay $40.00 a day for a rental but to rent a f150 is $71.00 a day. I asked them to buy it back or pay 100% 0f the rental. I will keep you posted.
That is not acceptable. My dealer has had my truck since 2/14 but they did give me an F-150 rental from Enterprise, which Ford pays for. You should be able to get this as well.

You're assuming Fomoco is paying for it. It's probably your dealer.

As we have seen a few times already, the dealer really does make the difference.

Also, loaner vehicles aren't always available, especially a truck.

I'm assuming you've dealt with Ford and it went smoothly in the past. In my experience the dealers required the truck on the lot and would not provide a timeline.

The first time around I made an appointment weeks in advance. Showed up and they said they couldn't even look at it for 1-2 weeks. No loaner. So I left.

For the second dealer I insisted on bringing my truck by when they were ready to work on it - and they agreed! Promised they would get right on it. Dropped it off and they let it sit for weeks while I uber'd around. I collected it when I couldn't wait any longer. No work had been done.

We all held up our end of the contract by plunking down serious cash. I know this sounds naive but I expect them to attempt to do the same.

I received a call from Ford today, ford is paying 100% for my rental and $250 a month for gas. I'm very satisfied with the decision ford made. Thank all of you for your answers.

I agree. If Ford wants our continued support they need to take care of us.
