So.is the answer to keep it plugged in to keep Wi-Fi active.? Otherwise it looks like it disconnects after the truck.powers off. I have not done any investigation if the charger plugged.keeps it active
I haven’t plugged in since Saturday. I was at like 63% when this popped up.

I'm charging right now, the truck is off, the wifi connection is offline.

If you think it'll help with downloads, start it, switch off the 30 minute shut down timer, lights off, lock the doors.

I usually try to post up when I get big updates. Seems to roll out to certain vehicles about the same time. I think the last time I posted about 10.something..check and see how long it was after I got mine that you got yours. It’s a good indication.
We both got 6.14.0 on the same day 9/6/2024, that's a good sign, though you got 10.3.0 more recently, which got pulled off the shelf before it reached my truck.

My truck is parked in my driveway and gets charged every other night. Automatic updates are turned on for 1 am 7 days a week. Truck is getting a good WiFi signal. Is there anything I can do to set myself up to receive this software update?
Updates are pushed to specific VINs which is controlled by Ford. It's not like an iPhone or pdate where they just post the files and the vehicles download at their discretion. Unfortunately you'll just have to wait until Ford pushes the update for your VIN.

The check for a available updates and download will happen while you are driving. The schedule setting is just to apply a downloaded update when the update requires the vehicle to he inoperable.

Many updates are just done in realtime while driving since they for smaller modules. Those don't require the truck to get sitting.

Did this include the UI updates (toggles) to let you turn any of that on, or is that still pending?

I don't see anything on the panel that allows you to turn things on/off, but here is what I noticed on my 22 when I did some digging for me.
  • Sound - This is an oldie but goodie. Flipped back to Stereo for a moment, then back to Surround. Before doing this the sound was flat, now sounds/feels better.
  • Speed Zone Recognition - My truck always seems to turn this off after every update. Switched this back on, but it took a few attempts because it wanted to turn it back off.
  • Lane Keeping - I noticed a slight ping-pong that I hadn't seen before while travling highways in DFW.
  • Blue Cruise -
    • I read somewhere that people noticed that it seems to come in/out more frequently than previous versions. Agreed with today's short trip.
    • Previously, the Dallas North Tollway always locked on Blue Cruise and today lots of warnings to keep hands on wheel. (I was going from Downtown to Frisco and back). There was a light rain, not sure if that played into the picture or not.
    • LIke that it doesn't always want to take the "exit" seems to keep to the left and pass the exit ramp.
    • Like that when you come up on a slower moving vechicle and the left lane is open, the driver console pops up a message to turn on the blinker to move left and go around.
    • LOVE Lane change (right or left) diagrams/messages all appeared on driver console. Very cool and very smooth. Will take some getting used to this because for so long i had to do it myself. I found myself doing the move before the truck executed the change.
    • LOVE - People in DFW seem to love to jump into the space that blue cruise is trying to maintain with the vechile in front of you. Previously, it stomped on breaks and wasn't a pleasant experience. Today, i had this happen multiple times. The truck gently slowed down instead of trying to put your head thru the windsheild. If needed i'm sure it will still stomp on the breaks.
overall happy to see that the 2022's are getting this update. Still not sure I'll keep it when it finally expires in Sep of 2026.

This is the biggest drawback for me. I can't use it with the traffic on congested highways.

with versions < 1.4 couldn't agree more with ya. See what 1.4 brings for you, I was surprised that it did better than before.
