That whole thing with the bronco is a joke. I bet the dealers complaining about not getting enough of them were the ones who were price gouging the customers and marking them up several thousand dollars so they weren't getting anyone ordering through them.
Ford should be on top of dealers marking the price up as it makes them looks bad and get a bad rep. Maybe make it so if a dealer gets caught with a large markup, they no longer get any of that specific vehicle for a few months.

Any trust laws prevent that. Ford can influence dealer pricing

I believe they said around 150 earlier. That's a good amount compared to what I saw in a thread for that topic (dealer reservation count). My dealers around me said they had 700 and 368. But I'm in California, so EV adoption is much higher than Iowa.

For what it is worth, my dealer confirmed the 10/26 date again last night. I was in touch because our Mach-e order build date slipped out.

Did you ever get any idea of how many Lightning reservations Metro has/had? FWIW when I called the GM at Morris he said they had around 40, but it is a smaller dealer....

Talked to the sales manager at my local Ford dealer. He said that he spoke to the regional Ford rep last week and was told that Ford has made no official announcement as to when the F150 Lightning order bank will open. The sales manager said that the Ford Regional rep stated that there were only rumors, but nothing official.
