As a result of your feedback, you have helped us discover an impact to Charge Settings being erased, including charge preferences and pre-saved locations. While we work to solve this via a software update, here is what you can do on your end:Ford Software Development does it again!! Issues an update that resets/breaks existing setup!
How difficult is it to save the current config, implement the update and then reassign the save config (modified if/as needed).
Here’s a hint, if you want swap two pieces of information, you need a third entity to store one of the items you’re swapping!!!
This is computer science 101!!
10.3.0 got installed last night and now I can’t update charging locations or % limits other than my using one time limit in truck. If I don’t do this truck always charges to 100%.

Seriously frustrating.

1. Delete your vehicle from the FordPass app (This will remove your Phone-as-key – have your fob close by!)
2. Add your vehicle back to the FordPass app
3. Follow the Ford authorization / activation instructions
4. Re-apply your charge settings and any other connectivity feature settings that were lost. This worked for me.
Curious what year is your Lightning, and when did you buy it?@Ford Motor Company when will you update our navigation to be able to route to Tesla chargers. We all have adapters at this point.

OK, that's a great sign, that updates are going to your truck, so if I understand your question, it's more about the native Ford navigation app having the Tesla sites, long time promised, who knows when that will happen, for now we're all using either Google, Apple or third party apps for locating Tesla stations, it's certainly a hodge-podge patch work at the moment.Mine is a 2023 and I received the 10.3 update recently purchased in march of 24
Which makes preconditioning for tesla chargers impossible* at this point, correct?OK, that's a great sign, that updates are going to your truck, so if I understand your question, it's more about the native Ford navigation app having the Tesla sites, long time promised, who knows when that will happen, for now we're all using either Google, Apple or third party apps for locating Tesla stations, it's certainly a hodge-podge patch work at the moment.
Current has no impact on cost. A kilowatt-hour is the same whether it is delivered at 5 amps or 500 amps.500 amps, ok. The level of damage to the battery and the fact that this won’t even be offered (like at a fast charger) are the major issues. I mean it’s cool and would really reduce charging times but the 500 amp service would make charging very expensive in this current economic climate.
If you have an Android phone, google maps in android auto allows preconditioning.Which makes preconditioning for tesla chargers impossible* at this point, correct?
*challenging; requiring routing to another dcfc via the native navigation while using your phone to navigate to the tesla charger. That's the only way I'm aware of, at this point.
