I have solar which covers 100%. When 20 years NEM is done, I think I will install the system to use the Lightning to power the house as Chargepoint price (for employee only) is only $0.10. Even the Tesla SC station price is only 0.23 7/24 near Raleys in our neighborhood.

Ford F-150 Lightning PG&E tier1 price in past 22 years GA POWER PEV prices graph

TIME OF USE – PLUG-IN ELECTRIC VEHICLE SCHEDULE: “TOU-PEV-12”

MONTHLY RATE: Basic Service Charge...............................................................................................$0.4603 per day On-Peak kWh 2pm-7pm............................................................................................................... 24.7091¢ per kWh Off-Peak kWh 7am-2pm, 7pm-11pm....................................................................................... 8.4469¢ per kWh
Super Off-Peak kWh 11pm-7am......................................................................................... 1.8160¢ per kWh

These are 'raw' charges... there are MANY extra charges, and some are 'invisible' and not disclosed directly on the bill. For instance, my last bill equaled only $50 for the 'kwh charges', shown above, BUT, the bill's extra charges added up to another $75, BUT, the total bill was over $200... no one at Georgia Power can tell you why. : /
This bill is also during the year when there is NO 'On-Peak' charges, only 1.8 or 8.5 cents...

*Minimum Monthly Bill: Basic Service Charge plus Environmental Compliance Cost Recovery, plus Nuclear Construction Cost Recovery, plus Demand Side Management Residential Schedule, plus Municipal Franchise Fee. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. : /

The new rates kicked in on 12/15 here, the all in cost for charging my truck increased by 20%!!

It's now 31.75 c/kwh, previously it was 26.4 c/kwh, no special treatment TOU structures for us.

BTW, with poor energy consumption this winter cold temps, my extensive testing of departure timing and multiple remote starts, and short drives, it's now costing me more to drive electric than it was to fuel my old F250 Power Stroke diesel !!

Pretty much identical here. My new municipal contract went into place. Our energy cost went up 40% ($0.10 to $0.14). National Grid's delivery charges added the other 1-2 cents. $0.32/kWh total.

I charge free at work but this time of year I can't keep up with the consumption with just charging at work (chargers only deliver 5.8kW) and hybrid schedule. From April to October I almost never plug in at home. If the electricity rates get much higher I many have to start going into the office more just to plug in! 😄

Be happy with $0.14, that's only one quarter of our price!

All in price is $0.32/kWh. $0.14 is only for the electricity. Additional $0.18 for delivery and fees.

$0.32 is too high.

I seriously think I should install the system to let the Lightning to power my house. I will go to office to charge at $0.1 and use it when I got home.

Even our neighborhood Tesla SC price is $0.23, and the other Tesla SC is only $0.14 during night time. PG&E is the worst company I ever see.

Then again, that $7,500 MOREV rebate will help soften the blow.
Do you still have DCFC by the minute over there or is that done with ?

My garage has a separate metered 200 amp load center, not related to my home. I don't think I have anything to complain about. Consumption on my last bill was from charging my Leaf. And I just got 4.8kw solar panels on my garage, which has net metering. But the panels are covered with snow and not doing me any good this past week. I can't get over how much you all have to pay.

I should have mentioned that VERY generous EV incentive as a balancing act against our high energy costs, let's say I spread that over 8 years, it comes to $938, that definitely softens the blow.
Last year my gross electric cost was $1409, less $938, net cost $471 over 10116 miles nets to 4.7 c/mile not even considering all the maintenance adjustments.

Unfortunately Mass regulators are being much more considerate of the real costs to the charging industry, they're approving requests to toll energy by the KWH instead of by the minute, as of August 16th 2023 EA is using their national price structure for member-36c / non-member-48c rates by the KWH.

At this time it's still less expensive to charge at home even if by a modest margin.

Here's from the PGE rate page for the EV2 schedule (I'm in Placer County):
