Power Promise FCSP Delivery??

I leased a 2024 Lightning on 12/14 and selected
to have the Ford Power Promise to get the free FCSP installed at my house. The dealer did not have a FCSP and said Ford would ship it to me. According to the dealer, they have submitted everything to Ford (late December or early January). I have been contacted by Qmerit (1/13). The local electrician had been to my house and we have an approved quote. However, I still do not have the charger. I contacted Ford and the my said only the dealer can give me an update on the FCSP. I contacted the dealer and they say everything was submitted on their end and I should be getting an email from Ford. They also state that they cannot check the status and that no one has gotten a charger with this program.

Something seems wrong. Is this common? Does anyone have suggestions on how to get the ball rolling? Who do I contact and what do I need to say?

Any help or insight is appreciated.

My buddy bought a MachE in December and came home with a charger. Your dealer screwed up.

We had another thread with essentially the same situation, key take away was that if the dealer had stock on hand of FCSP, they were to deliver it with the vehicle, when they did not have stock, then an order for it to be mailed to you was to be made. Hopefully the dealer has done everything correctly and there is a hold up along the delivery process. It would be nice if Ford had a follow-up & tracking procedure for this, especially when multiple months have passed.

who is supposed to order the FCSP - the dealer? Is it a separate process than submitting for the installation from QMerit?

I’ve had the truck for 8 weeks without a reliable way to charge it. Had I known the cluster that getting the charger would be…

Maybe @Ford Motor Company could tell me how to check to confirm everything is submitted correctly and/or update my expectations with respect to the timeframe to get the FCSP.

I’ve been checking my junk email daily for 8 weeks. The dealer says everything is submitted and seems to be hands off at this point. That thread is 100% correct - Ford is giving incentives and is either 1) not teaching the dealers how to submit it properly, or 2) the dealers just don’t care.

this is frustrating for the customers. I have no way to see who dropped the ball or why I haven’t received a code. I have given a reasonable response time. Unfortunately, the dealership is a 2 hour drive, so I don’t have the time to deal with it in person.

I’ll try a DM to @Ford Motor Company to see if they can help find the status.

Yes, I think the other thread you are referring to may have been mine. I had a similar experience after I bought my 2024 Lightning in November. In the end, I called into Ford using contact info from the FordPass app. I asked the agent helping me to conference in my dealer. She got him on the line and they solved it for me. She transferred custody of the FCSP that the dealer had in stock to me. The dealership then had his courier deliver it to me that same day. I had my survey done with the electrician tapped by QMERIT. I am now waiting for the electrician to contact me with an install date. It has been a very slow process for sure.

Assuming you got the portable Ford 110/220 charger with the vehicle, have the electrician run the wire for the FCSP but install a 220 plug, and start charging. When the FCSP fiasco is resolved, switch out the 220 plug for the FCSP.

The shipping label on mine says it was mailed to dealer. 12/18/24. Dealer then shipped it to my house. Maybe with the increased sales in Dec and Jan, they fell behind????

Since that is not part of the Ford Power Promise, it would require me to pay for the electrician instead of Ford.
