I signed up through the FordApp. Was able to use my Ford Points (0), showed my new end date as a year past 3 free years and told to look for confirmation email. But in Ford account it still shows '27 as end date instead of '28....hoping it works...if it's free it's for me!

I just signed up thru the Ford pass app and it worked for my '22 Platinum. My original trial was scheduled to end in October, 2025 and now it's October, 2026. I took a screenshot as recommended here on the Forum. Not sure how long it takes to get the email confirmation, but I'll be keeping a close eye on my email! Thanks to those that brought this to our attention!

Same expire month as me. So your FordPass app shows a 2026 date now instead of 25 with a pending 1-year renewal?

I’m glad it’s working for everyone! Honestly, I feel like through 2024 model years they should just give BlueCruise free for life. Will be interesting to see what prices look like in three years. Clearly nobody is paying for it now.
I submit that in the aggregate, '22 and '23 buyers paid for any extra BlueCruise we got when we paid for the truck. Said another way, I bet owners of 2024 Lightnings wouldn't pay the difference between what they paid and what earlier owners paid for four years of BlueCruise.

I went through the process, as others have an got the web success message, followed by the unable to process message. What my account shows now is that it still expires at the end of the trial, but it will auto-renew at the end of the trial for $0 per year, so I think it worked.
I suspect I am now signed up for yearly renewals and if I don't remember to turn it off, I'll eventually get charged the $500 per year price.

Worked for me however I did not see the options for monthly or yearly at $495 as the other screenshots. My only option was the free one.

Take the win

I had the full price, monthly, and free, options on my Lightning offer in FP....but got just the one option of a 0$ year on my '23 model MME version of the same subscription. So I've now extended both for another year.

Yes I got that same screen when checking out. But if you now go back into your account and look at Blue Cruise you should still see the same expiration of this year - but with a renewal showing - like my pic above.

I think this is what folks are talking about when they say they don't see the the new expiration date. It's just semantics I guess.

Also, from what's been reported on the MME site thread on this same topic it would appear that it applies to '22/'23 model MMEs that got a full three-year subscription at sale time, and possibly also '21 models that have maintained a continuous paid subscription up to this point (even though they were still rockin' BC 1.0 for an extra year of that paid subscription time).

23.5 models, and newer, MMEs all came with a 90 day BC Hands-Free trial of BC 1.2 from the plant. So it doesn't appear any of them are being offered an extra freebie year.

You're correct. I went back into my account and looked at Blue Cruise and saw the original expiration date - and the renewal showing. So I should be all set but a confirmation email would still be nice!

Yep - Thank you Ford, and the original poster. My '22 Lariat ER was to expire August '25, now a year later for $0. My VIN in 7,000s. Unfortunately, will not use much because it does not work while I tow my Camper Trailer, currently mostly fulltime. Hopefully soon someone will get the promised confirmation email, but in the past email from Ford was sent by Pony Express.

Make sure you read the fine print and understand that you are signing up for an automatic renewal that will bill to whatever pays for your vehicle’s connected services at the then current cost of an annual renewal. This could be quite pricey as the current cost is $495!

It is a little confusing when that billing will take place. The fine print makes it sound like you will be billed 1 year from when you signed up (not necessarily a year from when your trial service ends).

To be safe, I plan to cancel about 20 days after signing up. If you cancel within 14 days the service is terminated, but after 14 days the service continues until the next billing period (I’m assuming that is 1 year for the annual plan).

Good luck everyone—I’m putting the cancel date on my calendar now.

No confirmation emails received as yet either.
I enrolled for the free one year extension also, got the credit card notification for $0.00, no Ford.com email yet, but haven't we all learned how SLOW their email system is, the gerbils are on extended weekend leave, they'll be back on duty Tuesday morning 0000 UTC
