So I am looking to do this mod on my '24 flash. So all I need for the install is the harness and the sensor (plus forscan stuff)? My stock stalk will work just fine?
What the 2024 Flash doesn’t have autowipers!

You'd think that would be standard on a 70k+ truck 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
Man it was standard on my XLT I don’t think it was discussed that Ford removed the auto wipers on all the threads of 23 XLT ER vs a Falsh

Apparently you get the extended range, bigger screen, B&O sound system, 360 cams, but no auto wipers. The bean counters said it was too much.

Yep after they took away the dual AC chargers also along with a few other things

The 726-39-02 change in the BCM, AFAIK - is just to make the headlights turn on with the rain sensor. I left this change out when I set up mine.
Whats the downside to not making this change? Im about to do the install today.

I dont think there is one. Its probably best to have this enabled as long as you know the rain sensing is working. When i first installed my sensor I didnt have the LIN bus or power on the harness, and it made fhe headlights come on all the time. Next time Im doing forscan stuff I’ll update mine.

that makes sense. Well, I’m pretty sure I had all the hardware place due to the packages that were added onto my truck with a 360 camera and the tow technology. So there’s no rain unfortunately right now so I’ll test that soon. I guess. But that makes sense. I went ahead and turned it on just because I was already in there.

Hey guys, I have a ‘24 Flash and am trying to figure this out.

I’ve attached photos of the wiring in my mirror mount. You can see where the sensor plug is stashed, any testing with my voltometer shows no power. I’m thinking that the blue wire is like 12v and simply moving it to the same position as the blue wire in the large plug would be a solution rather than running a completely new harness from the steering column. How crazy of an idea is that? Of course, I should test and see if that blue wire is carrying power first. Maybe it’s the black that needs to be moved?

My truck already had ground on the connector to the rain sensor (probably because it's used for the other modules up there.)
Do you have any pictures? My '24 Flash, with a build date of 3/24 has three wires to the sensor plug - green, blue, and black - that all come from a larger plug. But I don't detect 12v at the plug and am trying to figure out why. Pictures are above.
