There is precedent for creating other sub-forums under the umbrella of Lightning VS. see the Macan and Scout groups of threads, and there are link-outs to other complete forums on others like the Ram Rev, @Administrator has the ability or access to those who can make another sub-group.

the tabs were horrendous on one specific cell I tested...layered thin strips of aluminum that did not hold up well

Are you in a position to give more detail on "did not hold up well"?
I have a image as the cell swells a tab breaks free and moves where it shouldn't be? I remember they used a welding or crimping method that you hadn't seen before....

Ford shipped exactly that adapter with early Lightnings. I got one - you didn't? Mine is bright yellow and was in the lower compartment of the frunk at delivery.

I had one in my frunk too. It was also yellow but someone at the dealership stole it. I did it on the free adapter ford offered back in June 2023 and finally received it a couple of months ago.

My dealer took mine, as it was a mannequin and I had to wait 6 months to take possession of it. They told me it didn't come with one. But the first time I test drove it had one in the frunk.

I received my NACS adapter from Ford and couple of months ago. I haven't tried it out yet. Even though I only charge at home I will give it a try to a tesla charger just to make sure it works.

Just used my NACS adapter for first time in Ocean Shores using the Tesla app. Worked perfectly, charging at around 150kw.
