Shifter replacement (Service vehicle soon)

My 2024 Flash keeps throwing “Service vehicle soon” message intermittently, with no power loss. The shifter won’t stow when I get this alert. Those who got their shifter replaced due to this error, how long did the dealership take to get it replaced. Also, did they instruct you to keep driving until they got the relevant part in stock, or were you advised to drop the truck at the service center while they waited for the part?

Those who got their shifter replaced due to this error, how long did the dealership take to get it replaced. Also, did they instruct you to keep driving until they got the relevant part in stock, or were you advised to drop the truck at the service center while they waited for the part?

Have you driven regularly without stowing the shifter? If so did you still get the same error?

There is no need to stow it unless you really really need the workspace option.

Due to the shifter’s fragility, I hardly ever actually stow it.

Yes. In fact, I’ve never needed to stow the shifter in my 4 months of ownership, but some Reddit forums listed possible reasons for “Service vehicle soon” error. One of the reasons could be related to the shifter, and the way to confirm is by checking if the shifter stows normally. Mine doesn’t stow when I get that error, indicating problem with the shifter.
