This Trip stats sometimes carrying over from previous trip

Sometimes two trips get combined even after parked overnight. Anyone else notice this? Never more than two trips though.

This is a known issue with MME. In a year and a half, Ford has not fixed it.

This happens to both my MME and Lightning. This is how some people have been seeing crazy averages on the miles per KW.

As for me, I’m completely stumped by what the criteria for “This trip” are.

At first, I assumed it was simply reset each time you start, then when I’d start a hour later and see the trip is already an hour, I’d speculate that it was somehow resetting whenever I return home.

After testing that theory a few times, the only thing left is that it’s just a bug, but when you think of it, having an option to reset whenever you return home would be a great option for those times where you make multiple stops and eventually return home.

I also like the idea of having statistics that reset whenever you fully charge.

For what it’s worth, the Mach-E has the same problem.

I've noticed that this problem happens when I pre-condition the truck. If I don't, "This trip" resets.

Someone reported that if you start in accessory mode, then shut off, it will reset. I don’t care enough about the statistics to bother trying it.

Just found this thread after posting my own about it. I think I found a fix for this. When shutting the truck off hold down the brake pedal. It seems to reset the stats every time for the next startup.

Holding down the brake isn't working every time for me. Keep us updated how successful this is for you.
