Finally got it done!

I did a ton of research (and a little bit of crossing fingers/toes) to make sure that everything was going to fit without any rubbing, and it turned out great!

Wheels are Ford Tremor 18's, tires are BFG KO3 285/75R18, and I also got the Eibach front struts to level everything.

For the inevitable questions about impact to range, I don't know yet. Haven't driven it enough since the tires to know for sure, and the speedometer is wrong too, so it will require some monitoring and math on my part to get there - its gonna be a bit before I know anything, but I'm expecting 10% hit at least, and wouldn't be surprised at 15%.

Next time its in for service, I'm going to see if I can get the them to update the tire size so that the speedometer will be accurate.

Do you know for sure if the dealer is able to configure the new wheel size? I ask because when I was looking for my aftermarket wheels, the only thing available to account for the speedometer error was a plug-and-play module that would have to be tucked in behind the driver's display.

That looks sweet. You might be pleasantly surprised with the range. With the larger tire, you'll cover 5.5% more ground for each revolution so you'll go that much further than the stock wheel for every mile on the odometer (until you get it corrected). Your actual range hit might less than you expect, regardless of what the trip meter says. I'm interested in what your numbers show when you get them.
How do you find the noise level?

Why the front license plate hanging off the front right side of the truck?

It's definitely louder - but I can only tell if I don't have the radio on. I don't think it's obnoxious.

Plate is attached to a holder in the front tow hook. MD requires a front plate and I didn't want to drill into the front bumper. And I think this looks better anyway. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Yeah, I ran into the same problem not wanting to drill into the noticeable part of the front bumper. I ended up drilling 2 very small holes in the indentation area where the button is to unlatch the frunk and using two very small screws to secure the top of the bracket. The bottom of the bracket I used two sided 3M tape to secure the bottom of the bracket. So, you wouldn't see the holes if you took the bracket back off. I'm not a fan of the tow hook brackets; however, I am now faced with the same situation for a new Toyota GR Supra that I just purchased. I am going to use a tow hook bracket made by EOS Plates. It doesn't stick out as far and tucks the plate into the lower left grill section. Your truck looks great with the tires and wheels!!

Looks nice! Good job going with Eibach struts (functional improvement) vs leveling spacers.

Looks amazing. Question on the struts, did you do all 4 or just the fronts? Mind linking to what you got?

I’m asking because I used a leveling kit and my tire guy just said that my tires are wearing unevenly and he thinks it’s the struts or the upper control arm isn’t long enough. Thanks

I went with just the fronts - the rear shocks are just fine, so I didn't see a reason to replace them.

That was one of the reasons that I went with the Eibach struts - I was worried about the stock struts running at full extension with the spacers, and once I found that the new struts and the spacers were about the same cost, it was a no brainer for me to go with the struts that probably perform better than stock.

Awesome thanks for the info. Is the ride better than the stock struts?
